Gladiator 2 is the most unnecessary sequel ever made. The plot is boring, the tone is awful, and Paul Mescal simply doesn’t fit. Russell Crowe said: “It is example of people not understanding what made first one special”

Russell Crowe slams ‘GLADIATOR 2’ “I think the sequel is a really unfortunate example of even the people in that engine room not understanding what made first one special.” “It wasn’t circumstance. It wasn’t the action. It was the moral core.”

Gladiator 2 could have been the craziest sequel ever made. Nick Cave wrote a sequel where Maximus is resurrected, sent back to Earth by gods to kill a rising religious figure who resembles Christ. Russell Crowe read it and said: “Don’t like it, mate”

THE MUMMY (1999) is the most entertaining film ever. They really should've made a sequel...

Russell Crowe didn’t even like parts of the first Gladiator script — he rewrote lines on set and famously told the writer, “Your lines are garbage. But I can make even garbage sound good.” Then came Gladiator 2, with Nick Cave’s wild sequel about Maximus being resurrected by the gods to kill a Christ-like figure. Crowe read it and said, “Don’t like it, mate.”And just like that...we might have missed a masterpiece sequel.

I will never understand why people are mixed with this movie, Cars 3 (2017) is Pixar’s most underrated sequel and their greatest sequel and yes even better than Inside Out 2, this moment is a perfect example of why Cars 3 is such an amazing sequel and it made me tear up too! 🥲

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves turns 15 years old today Not only is it a perfect sequel, but it's also one of the most important games in PlayStation history And yes, the opening is still one of the best in any game ever

Gladiator 2 is a film that didn’t work for multiple reasons- one being scenes such as this. The unnecessary use of CGI totally took me out of the film. Gladiator released 24 years before its sequel but somehow looks much better. The filmmaking in Gladiator 2 really disappointed.

Master and Commander (2003) is one of the most underappreciated epics of the 21st century. The chemistry between Russell Crowe & Paul Bettany drives the film, while Peter Weir’s direction turns naval life into pure cinematic poetry.

Goodbye RC, Giant, Queen People said this is the worst defense, in my opinion its quite frankly the opposite and I said it in my video. Most underrated defense ever. This is one of the best defenses we ever had in game simply because of the element of surprise and mechanic

Paul Mescal is asked how “wild” it felt meeting King Charles at the Gladiator II premiere. "I'm Irish, so it's not on the list of priorities". Does the reporter asking the questions think the King is also the King of Ireland? 🤔🤦🏼‍♂️

Disney made the right call, folks. Tangled doesn’t need a sequel. Tangled Ever After is the perfect conclusion to Rapunzel’s story.
