More experiments of this workflow: Generating quick 3d models using Lumas Genie 3D. A text prompt generates 4 models in 10 seconds. Then, using Lumas webviewer, I feed a screencapture of the model into Krea ai which details the model based on another prompt. Finally, Magnific AI is used to add the final finish. Opus 4.6 vs Gemini 3 Pro (3/9) prompt: Build a premium interactive isometric 3D cozy room using Vite + React + Three.js (react-three-fiber/drei), with all objects modeled in code (no external assets) and subtle ambient animations. Gemini looks good on initial impression but I feel like I have way more to work with opus here (opus also did light/dark mode and took a quarter of the time to make it).

img2threejs 1.5.1 is out 🚀 Checkout: This release introduces a new approach to image → 3D → Three.js. Image → Tripo → img2threejs → reconstructed geometry → Three.js Instead of using the generated 3D model as the final asset, img2threejs uses it as a reference to rebuild the character into a representation that can be generated and rendered directly in Three.js. No Blender workflow, and no GLB required as the final output. The animation in the demo is still a bit rough because this release is focused on reconstruction, not animation. I’ll be improving that in the next release. Still experimental, but this is a big step toward where I want img2threejs to go.

Can't believe in less than 24 hours I created my own game with Claude and Three.js. Running in a browser at 120 FPS. All I had to do was give Claude the repo for Threejs and describe an MMO-like game for it to build from scratch. All the assets and mechanics you see are all from a prompt. As you can see, it is far from done but the progress is insane. Everyone should be using Three.js now without a doubt!

Here's a look behind the scenes of how I used a 3d model, generated from an image, as a "driver" for ai animation. In the near future we'll see more 3d tools that support these types of workflows, with much more emphasis on enhancing user input instead of just letting the ai do everything. I used the 3d model to generate keyframes that I then animated in Luma Dream. By using a 3d model with a diffusion "layer" done with Krea, I got quite high quality frames with a relatively high consistency as well since the AI didn't have to "hallucinate" that much. I upscaled and detailed the frames using Magnific. Using semi-detailed 3d models as drivers for gen ai is very powerful, and it allows us to use models that are sculpted in a more free-flowing type of workflow that doesn't rely so much on high surface detailing or very time-consuming finish, but instead relies more on gestural 3d sculpting. #art #ai

I’m blown away by the quality of the landing pages that Opus 5 can create in Three.js. Prompting it with "orbit using mouse" is enough to create a 3D parallax effect. The same goes for "add particles to pointer." It’s like creating a living, breathing world. More prompts I used: - Add a butterfly that flies to the branch and flies away when I mouse over it. - During the intro, first load a wireframe of the branches, similar to the field-scanning effect in Death Stranding. - Add a scan effect to the card images while they load. Then I asked it to use the shader buttons and nav bar I made in previous projects. As explained in my last video, I started with an inspiration and the prompt, “Recreate this in Three.js in a single HTML file. Self-verify until perfect.” Opus 5 ran for two hours. All the code is less than 1 MB. Inspiration: Let me know if I should open-source this.

The Seaside Sprout by Digital 3D Artist Travis Sindewald is a personal project inspired by the background images that usually accompany LoFi streams. The project used an Unreal Engine water plugin to help complete the calming coastal elements. "I set out to build a place that feels cozy and quiet, like something you’d see in a LoFi stream. At the same time, I challenged myself to blend a more painterly style with realistic lighting and materials. Opus 5 is so good at creating these exploded-view and wireframe three.js product sites. Give it a video reference and it can build the experience directly in three.js or Blender. Then keep improving the details, textures, and lighting with follow-up prompts. I got our entire design team to turn landing pages built around images and video into three.js sites. They're lighter and easier to prompt. Since everything is code, AI can make more precise changes with fewer iterations. The difference between the old image-based sites and the new three.js versions is staggering. I can also jump in after the team finishes and help refine the details. Btw, is getting 100K views a day, which is absolutely nuts. The repo reached 3.8K GitHub stars in 4 days. It's my fastest-growing open-source project by far. So I added 60 more components. I'm also looking for sponsors to help fund ThreeUI long-term so I can keep adding to it.

I think I discovered the cheapest way to code with AI 😁 I tried GLM 4.5 on Claude Code and I'm really amazed how good this model is! I usually test with my nextjs crm app benchmark so I asked it to do that. Prompt "create a nextjs app which is a crm app. use sqlite for the database and use api routes to manage connecting to the database from the frontend" My observations - Generation feels like Sonnet 4 intelligence - Speed is great - It used create-next-app so it bootstrapped nextjs v15.5.2 - It created a sqlite database and used Prisma ORM and helped me easily add seed data - I needed a few prompts to iron out minor issues but all's good. It didn't struggle or got stuck. - Spent $0.50 for this app. Could be way cheaper with the Z.ai sub plans After trying, I can say GLM 4.5 model is up there as the best open source model for coding. I love using GLM 5.2 for web app iteration. My workflow: generate 6 variations, then pick the best one and continue iterating on it. I built Recast to make this even easier. Give it a prompt, get 6 variations, download the code for your favorite version, then continue iterating in your own coding agent. GLM 5.2 works really well for this use case since it's fast, cheap, and great at design. On average, you can make 3-6 landing pages with GLM 5.2 for every one you can generate with Opus 4.8. And the design variety of the GLM landing pages helps a lot with trying to think through what style you want to go with. Recast is launching soon (as a web app + skill).

Everyone is using Fable 5 to build funny little demos so I decided to build something better. Vibe coded a 3D keyboard ecom platform in Three.js and GSAP. Every key. Every switch. Every color. Customizable in real time in 3D. It's really amusing that whole keyboard is built at runtime using Procedural geometry. To achieve that kind of realistic lighting on keyboard, it used a studio environment (gradient sky + softbox panels) rendered into a PMREM cubemap for realistic reflections. Opus helped a bit more here (as Fable was failing in loop in Claude chat) There is also custom GLSL shaders for RGB underflow/skirt and as well sRGB output encoding + explicit convertSRGBToLinear() on every material color so caps render at their exact swatch value. I don't know any of these techniques and concepts but I have had been reading how both Fable and Opus were trying to approach this by digging into their "thinking" phase. This is my new opensource project with WEBGL2 & Three.js , my goal was to build a third person template of a samurai, so I built 3 techniques ( using the katana ) & 3 magic abilities which are fully procedural. katana fire made of a real raymarched volume, ragdoll with no physics engine, Skeleton was done in mixamo so that it's easy to swap character & a character editor. A lot of manual work done & I used Opus 5 Anthropic help to speed up my vision. Live link: Source code:

Here's how to do a bit of VFX work using Seedance 2: If you generate with Seedance 2 you often get a great shot but unfortunately with one or more minor artefacts. Instead of discarding the generation, you can actually edit the video using Seedance 2. In my case it i had to remove a character and I did this using simply as the prompt and using the original video as reference: "Remove boy from video". I then regenerated the missing detail (the boy) using an isolated version of the boy that I removed. And then animated using Seedance 2: "the boy runs sideways and stops. white background. he stays in the center of the screen." In the tutorial below, I'll show how I got rid of an artefact in a shot I liked, and used good old compositing to combine a two videos. As always I'll share the link to the Space below.

Let me tell you why and how. - ShapesXR is the most powerful and fastest way to assemble 3D scenes at scale. - The library of assets + ability to sketch from procedural primitives gives the perfect balance between speed and freedom. - ShapesXR allows you to export your creation as a glTF that can be used as a "3D prompt" into Marble - Marble now allows you to create a panorama using a 3D scene as input increasing DRAMATICALLY the control you have during the creation process - Through the workflow you can adjust textures and objects in the scene using AI inpainting - There are tons of options on how to use the final output (create a #GaussianSplatting, export collision mesh and even a detailed mesh 🤯) This is the perfect examples of how VR creative tools improve and accelerate the design process... so make sure to follow me if that's your jam 😉.
