I hate how everything is now cropped into blank space. Before, there were layers covering the shit you scrolled through. I like minimalism, but I still want some signs of skeuomorphism or at least some effort, not just select and hit delete. But nobody cares, they just want blur.

Correction: Material design still remains tried and true and as authentic as it gets with beautiful design. You'd jump out of your seat seeing visual glitches/inconsistencies other skins have.
