Updated the subagents system in my custom Pi extension to include: - Pi subagents - Codex subagents - Claude Code subagents The Pi thread can call and spin up any of them, and instead of just using the "codex exec" or whatever, it'll do a tool call that wraps it up in a first class way. Have a decent UI for them already added in as well. Pi being the main thread then having Codex/Claude Code as tools when needed feels so good. A flow I'm already using a ton is: "Implement feature ___, have a cc fable subagent research and plan out the api design + feature, then have a codex subagent implement it, then have a cc fable subagent do a review/fixes focused on simplicity and correctness" I also have a dynamic workflows extension setup and working, but it's not nearly as polished yet. Today is my daughter’s birthday and she truly is my whole world. When I look at her, I see innocence, hope and a future that deserves to be safe, secure and full of dignity. I never wanted to be the person standing on the frontlines but life gave me no choice. The establishment and the police failed me and they failed so many of you. As a parent, how could I stay silent? This journey has cost me more than people will ever understand. I’ve lost financially, emotionally, and even people I once called family and friends walked away. OK, I can get behind this. With Magpul and Ruger collaborating on the RXM (very successfully, I might add), Mini-14 mags and furniture should at least be considered. The Mini-14 is an underrated platform and expensive proprietary mags hold it back. Cheap mags and Magpul furniture *could* create positive network effect demand for both. The Mini-14 price is still a tough sell at $1,300-$1,400 MSRP. If they could course correct on that at the same time, I'm just saying there are possibilities here.

Codex update 0.105.0 is out! Despite the fairly pedestrian changelog, this one's a doosie. It's a laundry list of quality of life improvements across the board. - Wispr Voice dictation (hold space to talk) - Theme picker - Codex can prevent sleep on Linux & Windows (I just know there's a joke in there) - Customize Plan Mode reasoning - Many other fixes/updates There's also a complete overhaul to subagents: - New names for readability - Visual display overhaul (way cleaner) - Allow for multi-layered subagent depth (max_depth) - Custom multi-agent role definitions (custom subagents) - /agents now shows both agent names, agent roles, and "dead agents" for auditibility This is the largest single update of Codex I've ever seen! $Yesterday at Brown University ICERM's workshop on “Agentic Scientific Computing and Scientific Machine Learning” I spoke about “Adaptive Swarms Across Scales”, making the case for scientific AI as systems that can create representations, stress them, fracture them, and enlarge the category in which future representations live. The category here is a composable and breakable working universe of science: data, hypotheses, simulations, measurements, tools, failures, figures, papers, provenance, and the transformations that connect them. Discovery happens when those transformations become executable, inspectable, composable, and capable of changing the world model they operate within. Atomistic modeling gives one category - states, forces, trajectories, observables, boundary conditions, conservation laws. Neural surrogates learn fast morphisms inside or between such categories. But discovery is higher-order: it changes which objects and morphisms are available in the first place: what variables exist, what operations are allowed, what evidence counts, what scale is active, what invariant is being preserved, and what kind of explanation the system is even capable of forming. This is scientific method as adaptive architecture: compression, stress, fracture, recomposition. Fracture matters here because it makes the logic physical: a non-commuting diagram realized in matter. The imposed load, material hierarchy, defect field, and assumed continuum description no longer map cleanly into the observed outcome. The crack is the obstruction and it identifies where the old morphism failed and where a new representation must be introduced. The physical crack and the categorical obstruction are the same event viewed in different substrates. ScienceClaw × Infinite is a machine for constructing and transforming a category of scientific artifacts. Each artifact is typed. Each operation has lineage. Each failed branch remains in the category as reusable structure. The “paper” is no longer the terminal object of science; it is one projection of a larger compositional trace, and it can be generated at any time for consumption by a human or an AI. With that the unit of scientific labor is changing. For most of the twentieth century the unit was the result (a measurement, a theorem, a synthesized molecule). It is now becoming the algorithm that produces results, and after that, the substrate of discovery itself. The static PDF is the wrong terminal object for this regime, and the role of the scientist with it. We now design algorithms that build algorithms, and eventually substrates in which such algorithms compose themselves. At that point, the scientist is no longer outside the discovery system. The scientist becomes one of the representations the system can transform. In that sense, the systems will eventually do science to us, and that is the structural consequence of the principle they are built on.$

Things escalated and blows were exchanged, yet I’m the one facing charges based on the culprit’s complaint. What message does this send? That protecting your own family makes you the criminal? I respect the law, but the system must also respect a father’s right to act when his family feels threatened. Metropolitan Police, I hope the full truth comes out. Because this isn’t justice.
