🐿 yep, EDC was announced today… I’ll prepare really well and make it fun… I’m planning to show you a completely new side.. something entertaining. I’ll also play some tracks that I worked on myself. I’ll prepare properly so it won’t be awkward at all, and make sure it’s really enjoyable for you. If I’m going to do it… I got a pimple lol. Since I have to do it properly, I’ll prepare thoroughly and show you something good. It’s my first time being on stage alone for a long time, so if you cheer me on a lot, I’ll prepare hard and do my best!

My mom died 9 years ago today. Coach Brad Bigler called me and encouraged me to “Be about the things that she was about - that’s how you carry on her legacy.” She did hard things. So today, I did something hard. She would’ve been 62, so I did 62 miles on the bike. Thankful for the lessons she taught me. I miss her. If you have lost someone the anniversary of their death can be a difficult day. For nine years, I have chosen to do something on this day to honor my mom. I would encourage you to do the same.

Asked Kennard post game about his addition as a screener next to the big 3. Says he takes pride in it and it gets him good shots if he sets good screens. "Being a good screener, it's something that you don't really talk about much. You don't see the impact of what that can be, but, JJ has put me in positions to be a screener, and I think just the gravity that I have as being one of the top shooters in the league. Teams don't want to leave me. so being a screener, getting guys open, you know, it gets me shots if I, if I set good screens"

Yeah, maybe the format was a set back in the past, but at the same time there’s a lot of positives to it as well. And one of the things that a lot of players kept mentioning is you don’t have a wave weather difference, where you can simply get unlucky and you’re out of contention for that tournament. It’s part of the game, I get it, but it’s something you don’t have to deal with anymore. So that part is a very nice aspect. The team is what really made it for me. Being able to be part of a team, represent a team, play for my teammates, with my teammates and against my teammates, is something that to me that has always been very, very special. When you get a victory to share, it’s always better to have a team to share it with. So it’s what was the most attractive part and when we started discussions it gets to a point where even though I’m ambitious, I’m not greedy. So there’s a give and take and the format is something that I can easily overlook, and I’m pretty sure I can learn to enjoy it, I’ll just have to get used to it, but I’m pretty sure I’ll learn to enjoy it.
