One of the worst idea to ask Grok to Control Claude. Means you wasting your usage on Grok bot as well on Claude Code or Codex as well. All 3 tools do same thing, for Claude and Codex you just need to do a bit work to setup those envs in your own system which can be cheaper for long term and Grok Bot is good but can be expensive the longer its chats become, there is no way to compact longer chats.

A local browser turns an agent from a separate chatbot into a coworker that can pick up the exact workflow already open on your machine.

My direct use of Codex and Claude code has dropped since I am using Grok Bot. My agent Roxy is super good at triaging tasks to different models of Claude and Codex, and even a few local models I run on my Mac Mini. Ask you grok bot to use Jev or another decision model for choosing models, insanely fast, and token use is very much optimized.

Finally a bot that can pick up exactly where I got distracted. Tab 38 has been waiting.

Using the Claude or ChatGPT extensions as the bridge is clever. Does it ask before doing anything in a logged in tab, like sending an email or paying something? That's the part I'd want locked down, would've to try if the rules of Grok Bot apply when using these extensions.

Good one mate. Another tip give each Grok Bot one clear job instead of one bot doing everything. I run a chief of staff, an email bot and builders separately, and it stays way more reliable.

Indeed it's very useful when you already have Claude/Codex setup to your liking, and now Grok is just your assistant driving them on your behalf. Minimal setup on top.

Routing it through the Claude or ChatGPT Chrome extension is a neat trick, since that browser already has your sessions open. Saves redoing logins in a fresh sandbox. Does it still pause for approval before sensitive actions there?

GrokBot can also install dev tools, tailscale from the cloud to your pc, and control your browser directly.

I have it use the CLI via terminal, can also control Argon with it via agy. Seems like a more efficient way of doing it, Grok bot doesn't need the UI
