Grok Bot having its own computer is wild. only problem is it forces you to pay $300/month for a Grok plan. so i built Korgo bot. an open source version on Hermes. bring your current Codex or Grok subscription. each bot gets its own dedicated cloud computer, not one...

will be making it so that each bot can run its own harness too. one Hermes, one OpenClaude, one Codex, etc adding more providers you already pay for.

oh btw give a real computer to your agent here:

$29 a month per VM? So basically can only have one bot on that subscription of Orgo?

Nick Vasilescu's profile picture

correct - keep in mind this is a full desktop computer running 24/7, unlike other providers who will bill you by the minute and then they give you a $300 invoice at the end of the month haha

@Kyle_Wolt So its $29/mo for unlimited usage of 1 full VM which we will run a 'bot/agent' and we can customize the model/harness? Is this correct? if not, what am I not understanding

Yeah I’m still trying to understand the real value prop… Orgo: dedicated always-on machine(s) + open-source Hermes/Korgo. But I still pay separate model costs (Claude API, Codex Max, Grok Ultra/sub, etc.). Cursor Ultra ($200): Grok Bot + always-on shared cloud computer + $400 Claude/OpenAI usage + full Cursor editor & agents + high limits on Grok’s own models. So what’s the actual upside of going the Orgo route? Mainly the dedicated machines per bot + more customisability?

If I'm running 10 bots on Korgo, do I need to have 10 Orgo VMs?

Nick Vasilescu's profile picture

no you can have multiple bots w/ just one it's just an option

Why not just use Hermes bot mode ? I just made a plugin for Hermes that allow same feature as grokbot / same layout of computer there (attached to orgo ). Looks identical and works the same !

I have orgo, how is this different than a normal orgo VM that I have Hermes installed on? Or is it my Hermes on my home system that can use the orgo VM without having to be a separate installed Hermes on the orgo?

Setup was easy w/ our existing orgo accounts. I want to add multiple orgo computers to my bot vs. 1 single isolated sandbox.

I really like what you've done here, we should get @pzeroai integrated, it can then run any inference model in your VM at a huge reduction

wait so you don't want to pay $300 a month for a grok plan in order to use grok bot? you created an open source version on hermes that you can use a grok plan to power? when hermes itself now has a bot mode that is i think pretty definitively even more flexible than grok's current grok bot setup, can you make it make sense?

I've built several apps API consuming and it's not worth it. Trust me. Only AI local OpenSource would. Monthly plans and in this case @grok it is.

what's the one thing you can't replicate from Grok Bot because it's locked to their proprietary stack?
