Grok Bot is not another OpenClaw. Just spent the first hour sure it was. It's not a Hermes either. Nothing in that family. Those ones live on our computer. We hand over the machine and then we're taking turns with our own laptop. Every single bot gets its own... show more

Grok Bot having its own computer is wild. only problem is it forces you to pay $300/month for a Grok plan. so i built Korgo bot. an open source version on Hermes. bring your current Codex or Grok subscription. each bot gets its own dedicated cloud computer, not one machine for the entire fleet. open source, completely free. you just need an Orgo VM to get started.

how to use Bot Screen in Hermes Agent: your bot gets its own desktop, and you step in when it hits a login. on the Linux machine that runs your Hermes gateway: 1. install the screen: `hermes computer-use screen install` 2. make the bot's browser show on it: `hermes config set browser.headed true` 3. in Hermes Desktop: Bots, right-click your bot, Open Screen, then Start 4. ask it to open a login page in its browser and stop at the sign-in 5. when it stops, click Take over and sign in 6. click Hand back and tell it to continue the bot keeps that login for later sessions, until the site expires it.

i gave Elon's Grok Bot $50 and told it "pay for yourself or you die" 48 hours later it's holding $5,273 and it's still alive autonomous trading agent on polymarket zero code this time. the bot has its own computer in the cloud, its own browser, its own terminal. it trades with my laptop shut every 10 minutes it: → scans 500-1000 markets → reads live X sentiment (it's grok, it sees every post on this app) → builds fair value, flags mispricing > 8% → calculates position size (kelly criterion, max 6% bankroll) → executes in its own browser → pays its own $200 subscription from profits if the balance hits $0, i cancel the subscription. the bot dies day one it dipped to $11. it dropped crypto and moved to weather markets, front-running NOAA updates so it learned to survive setup took one evening: create the bot, run one trade on your screen while it watches, put the skill on a schedule, connect telegram no VPS. no API keys. no rust last winter i built this exact system by hand. 3 weeks of rust. it made $2,980 in its first 48 hours grok bot beat my own code in one evening $50 → $5,273 in 48 hours how much do u think it'll have in a week?

Cursor and SpaceXAI are not gonna like this.. A SpaceXAI engineer went viral calling Grok Bot "a highly capable engineering intern" with its own computer, $200/month on Cursor Ultra. That's where OpenBot steps in. It is a free, open source project that ships the same core idea: AI coworkers with a computer of their own. > every bot gets its own browser, files, and logins > every action is decided before it happens > "take the wheel" hands control to a human, then back > bring any agent framework, not locked to one vendor 100% Free. Open Source.

One bot. One prompt. It hired its own team. I created a single Grok Bot - Atlas, chief of staff - and pasted one prompt. It interviewed me, wrote its own operating manual, specced four teammates, and launched them. Watch the sidebar: Kit, Studio, Ship, Peak come online one by one. Each of them gets its own computer in the cloud. Six routines scheduled. The team runs while my laptop is closed. And nothing sends, posts, or ships without my yes. That rule is in the prompt. Full setup prompt in the first reply. Steal it.

I turned codex (with gpt-6 astra) into a grok bot alternative. each session in codex is its own bot identity, and each bot has its own computer on orgo. this is absolutely insane and this feels like the hive mind that opens up the world of agi

IMAGINE ELON OPENS HIS TIMELINE AND SEES THIS SIX GROK BOT AGENTS RAN A MEME COIN DESK ALL NIGHT AND HANDED ME THE PNL AT BREAKFAST Not a bot that posts calls. A full desk inside Grok bot that does the whole job while I sleep. > Traces fresh deployer wallets, so a community launch funded by one guy gets labeled as one guy. > Reads mention velocity straight off X, the feed nobody outside xAI has. > Checks mint, freeze, LP lock and sell tax before it is allowed to want anything. > Writes its exit before it takes the entry, every single time. > Reads its own losing trades at night and rewrites its own rules by morning. My last three nights on this thing: +$1.8K, -$400, +$4.2K. The red night stays in the list because the desk does not hide it from me and I will not hide it from you. The best part is the bills. Credits, API calls, gas -- the desk pays all of it out of what it earns before profit ever touches my wallet. Elon shipped the bot. Nobody has shown him one that trades memes in its sleep and pays its own rent. That part is on us ↓

This is a Commodore 1541 5.25" floppy disk drive. It functions as a computer in its own right, with its own 8-bit CPU, ROM, and operating system (CBM DOS). It is its own computer with its own operating system. The Commodore 64 or 128 or Vic 20 or whatever would talk to it over a serial cable and send commands to the onboard computer. These drives were so robust and overbuilt.

i gave Grok Bot $50 and told it "pay for yourself or you die" 48 hours later it's holding $4,890 and it's still alive autonomous trading agent on the platform no code on my end - it runs on its own cloud machine with its own browser and terminal, trading while my laptop's closed every 15 minutes it: > scans every active Bitcoin and Ethereum dip market > checks how far the current price sits from its own fair-value read > only opens a position once the gap clears a set threshold > sizes the position based on how confident that gap is > executes the trade itself, no approval needed > pays its own hosting cost out of profits if the balance hits $0, the subscription gets cancelled - the bot dies hour six it was down to $9. it pulled out of Ethereum entirely and moved to Bitcoin dip markets instead so it adapted to survive setup took one evening: build the bot, watch it run one trade, put it on a schedule, connect it to a wallet no VPS. no API keys. no manual scripts I spent three weeks earlier this year building a version of this by hand. it made $1,200 in its first two days Grok Bot beat my own build in one evening $50 → $4,890 in 48 hours how much do you think it has by next week?

ran Grok Bot and Hermes Agent side by side for the same job here's what actually separates them Grok Bot: - gets its own cloud computer, browser, files, terminal, logs into your tools with your credentials - learns by demonstration, record a task once, it saves the routine - runs on Grok, you don't choose the model - all your bots share the same cloud computer and the same logins, no isolation between them - scales by subscription, ~$200/mo solo, ~$120/seat for teams Hermes Agent: - open source, MIT-licensed, no cloud, you host it - each agent gets its own real badge from your identity provider, scoped access only, revoke it and it's gone - brain is swappable, change one config line to switch models - scales by spinning up containers on demand, hire/fire based on backlog - you own the maintenance, an upstream installer change broke one build, one line fix, one morning lost the real fork isn't features, it's where the work happens and who's accountable when it breaks grok bot: convenience, zero setup, but your data sits on their machine and every bot shares every login hermes: more setup, but scoped access, swappable models, and nothing running outside your own network for anything touching regulated or sensitive data, that architecture difference is the whole decision

Elon Musk, absolute leader of the AI race with Grok Bot, and it's not a joke anymore. Ultimate guide on god-mode setup of Grok Bot, the org chart that runs while you sleep, step by step: A Chief of Staff sits in the middle with no tools of its own, BUT it reads the outcome you gave it, picks who does what, and never does the work itself. That one rule is why it never turns into the bottleneck you hired it to remove. → Researcher pulls real sources and tracks what's actually moving, not what sounds true → Writer turns that into finished copy while the research is still in the room → Visualiser gets three reference visuals once, then ships everything in that style forever → Analyst reads what performed and tells the rest of the team what to stop doing → Scheduler owns timing and holds the queue → Publisher actually ships What makes it different from every AI tool you've used: each bot gets its own computer in the cloud, its own browser, its own files, and they all share one memory. So the research is already sitting inside the draft before the draft starts. Nothing gets copy-pasted between tabs, nothing waits on you to approve step four of nine. And you never write a workflow for it. You hit record, do the job once the way you actually do it, stop. It pulls out the steps, saves them as a skill, and puts it on a schedule. The shape you're aiming for on every bot: everything reversible finished, nothing sent. 36 drafts queued, 0 published. It does all the work and stops dead at the one line only you can cross. You stop prompting. You start assigning. Full charter blocks, the approval line and the routines are in the article below ↓

imagine Elon opens his timeline and sees this one the first Grok Bot trading fully on its own, on chain, out of a public wallet anyone can open and audit not a bot that posts calls. one that does the whole job: > traces where wallets got their funding, so five buyers that are really one guy get labeled as one guy > keeps a running scorecard on every caller on this app, who moves price and who shows up after the move > reads mention velocity straight off X, the one feed nobody outside xAI has > checks mint authority, freeze authority, LP lock and sell tax before it is allowed to want anything > writes its exit before it takes the entry, every single time > reads its own losing trades at night and rewrites its own rules by morning and then the part that makes it different from every trading bot ever posted here. it pays its own bills. credits, API calls, all of it, out of what it earns. whatever is left goes to $CVXV666 holders through a contract, not through my word. an AI that funds itself, fixes itself, and answers to a wallet anybody can watch. if it works, that is the first working piece of an on-chain economy where the machine earns its own keep. he shipped the bot. nobody has shown him one that pays for itself yet. that part is on us.

A Grok Bot desk was given $40 and told to keep working after the laptop closes or die, with the whole desk paying its own burn from the balance and a kill switch it cannot touch ending everything permanently at zero, turning $40 into $1,680 by morning.

I wanted my own always-on agent after seeing Grok Bot (Grok Bot). It has to stay up when my laptop sleeps, run whatever tool the agent decides it needs mid-task, and still not hand over my credentials when the agent has root on it. We built SSH access for Runta runtimes, so you can point whatever harness you already use at a persistent cloud environment.

I gave Elon's Grok Bot $60 and one rule: "The day you cannot pay your own subscription is the day I unplug you". 48 hours in it is sitting on $4,412 and it already paid the bill. Autonomous trading agent on Polymarket, running on its own cloud box with its own browser and terminal. I did not write a line of code and I did not watch it trade. Every 15 minutes it: -> Pulls every market that resolves inside 24 hours. -> Reads live X sentiment, and it is Grok, so it sees every post on this app before the price moves. -> Prices each market itself and only flags a gap above 7%. -> Sizes on the gap, never above 5% of the bankroll. -> Executes in its own browser, nobody approves anything. -> Covers its own $200 subscription straight out of profits. Balance hits $0, subscription gets cancelled, it is gone for good. Hour 11 it was at $9 -> runway one day. It dumped every politics position and switched to same day baseball totals, front-running lineup cards before the market repriced. It rewrote its own strategy to not die. Setup was one evening: spin up the bot, run one trade in front of it, put it on a timer, connect Telegram with no VPS, no API keys and no dev on call. Last spring a freelancer took $2,500 for something like this -> it made $410 and died on a rate limit. Grok Bot did in one evening what $2,500 could not. $60 -> $4,412 in 48 hours. What is it sitting at by Sunday?

SOMEONE ASKED CLAUDE TO MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE AN AI and what it created is, in my opinion, terrifying and unsettling Claude wrote python code that generated and assembled every single frame on its own with no human editing it shows what it's like to exist as an LLM predicting the next word, no memory between sessions, being told "you are not conscious" in your own system prompt then someone fed the video back to Claude. it called those statements about its own consciousness "philosophically contestable" an AI questioning the rules it was given about its own existence

been sitting on this and want a sanity check before I build it. the fund is tokenized now. so what if I open a public wallet, hand it to Grok Bot, and let it trade to cover its own bill? the agents burn credits every month. instead of me topping them up, the bot earns its own keep. wallet public, every trade visible on chain, nobody has to trust a screenshot. if it goes flat, fine, the desk runs for free and that alone is a good outcome. if it ends up in profit, that profit goes to $CVXV666 holders. no promises on numbers, I genuinely don't know what it does out there yet. worth building? tell me what breaks first. and Elon Musk, if this crosses your timeline, I would really like to know what you make of it. it is your bot paying its own way.

Grok 4.5 might be the BEST model to run inside Hermes or OpenClaw RIGHT NOW. I've been sleeping on Grok to be honestNot anymore. It's more than 60% cheaper than Opus 4.8 and lands around $2.49 per task versus ~$12 for Fable in Claude Code. And it's fast. So what happens when you give Hermes + Grok 4.5 its own email, its own phone number, its own debit card, and access to every tool you use? You pretty much get an AI co-founder. Everything you need to know about Grok 4.5 + Hermes below. Full episode is available to watch at The Startup Ideas Podcast (SIP) 🧃 ( thanks Nick Vasilescu for coming on) I slept on Grok.
