Stage 2 testing is officially underway at NASA Stennis 🚀 The campaign kicked off with successful cryoproof, loading the stage with cryogenic fluids and pressurizing it beyond expected flight loads to validate its structural integrity, followed by COPV manifold proof testing to verify the high-pressure system that will pressurize propellants during flight. These tests also marked the activation of A2, bringing together the infrastructure, flight hardware, ground and vehicle software, and the integrated team of test, launch, and vehicle engineers. Unique footage has emerged showing remote control of interceptor drones. On This Day in 1987: a USAF C-130 crashes in Fort Bragg (North Carolina, US). 4 of 6 aboard and 1 on the ground die. During a demonstration of a low-altitude parachute drop, the pilot pulled up too late. The airplane skidded for 1000 ft on a dirt runway, hit a vehicle, and caught fire. The maneuver demonstrated by the aircraft [Registration “68-10945”] was the LAPES - Low-Altitude Parachute-Extraction System – where aircraft deliver supplies without landing in areas that can´t be supplied by high-altitude parachute drops. This maneuver is no longer used by the US military.

In the ongoing crack down on drug dealers today in the early morning hours Narcotics Control officers on yet another tip off by the public made 2 arrests of drug dealers operating in Karachi and recovered 500 Grams ice/crystal meth, 800 grams weed and 5000 grams Hashish. The vehicle a Toyota Corolla used to supply drugs to has also been detained. FIR has been registered and further investigation is in process.
