Very curious now, what would be the budget if I wanna replicate this kind of setup for my ukulele performances I already have a Quest 3 headset with 10 SlimeVR trackers and that's it

I heard that using Quest 3 hand tracking in VRChat alongside VRCEGG, a dedicated guitar plugin, can achieve a very similar effect!! I don't use a HMD, nor do I use VRChat, here are the devices I use if you're interested! 👇

Yeah hand tracking and VRCEGG are what I'm using already, I can deal with how fiddly it is to calibrate the instrument as well as it being not so accurate but sometimes my left hand would spaz out because of occlusion so I'm probably gonna get a lighthouse tracker on my hands

😘Thanks Twinkle! I didn't even know this technique existed before learning this song. But when I saw the guitar playthrough, it suddenly clicked why the vibrato sounded so so so intense, haha! I just had to learn it right away!

The string dynamics are real-time rendering, manually authored in unity Timeline — not motion-captured live, but not post-production either.

Right now, it's still at a stage where it's super difficult to use. On top of requiring extremely high-precision mocap data, you also have to figure out all my messy parameters, haha! I'll keep optimizing and simplifying it! If anyone's interested, feel free to check out my basic workflow first!👇

I've been practicing harder than ever, it might honestly be my biggest motivation for playing guitar right now! I'm sure you'll find something like that too!! But definitely take care of your health first!!

I play sometimes but I don't really like how lazily I learned to play lol I was one of those kids that got Guitar Hero 3 when I was 13then decided plastic guitars are lame. Never got to jam with anyone or learn 'for real'.
