Introducing my String Dynamics System!🎸 I’ve created 3 different modes for different playing techniques: 🌟1. Bending & Vibrato — Deformation Mode Controls bend direction, intensity, and exact bend point. Set the vibrato count, and it generates a matching envelope curve that keeps string movement perfectly synced with finger motion. 🌟2. Palm Muting — Pulse Glow Mode Driven by BPM to produce short, rhythmic light pulses synced with right-hand picking. I used short pulses over vibration because real muted notes produce minimal sustained string movement. 🌟3. Strumming — Vibration Mode Full control over vibration range, amplitude, frequency, and phase. String glow scales dynamically with deformation to simulate real-time light reflection changes. All 3 modes are based on pure shader vertex deformation, stable, reliable, and fully controllable! What do you think?😘

I built a tool that automatically fixes finger & fretboard clipping in guitar mocap!🪄 Manually fixing one full song frame-by-frame to “pull” fingers out of fretboard used to take me ~10 hours. Motion: DancerVTuber 海 夏青 Outfit: MONVIE_VRC Sharing a few quick tips: ✨Simple single-layer skirts → Mesh Cloth for the smoothest, silkiest movement! ✨Complex pleats or multi-layer skirts → Bone Cloth, but if bones aren’t dense enough and leg clipping happens, switch Connection Mode to Mesh-related options. It creates mesh-like links between bones and fixes most clipping instantly. ✨For simple double-layer skirts, you can also try applying Mesh Cloth to each layer separately and enable Self-Collision ✨Small frills, ribbons, or ties without bones → slap Mesh Cloth on them too. Trust me, when these tiny details move naturally, the whole outfit feels insanely satisfying! ✨If you have a guitar on you like I do, add colliders to the guitar too! That way it presses the skirt down naturally without clipping, just like real life ✨ If you run into stubborn clipping that’s hard to fix, try using Magica Wind Zone to blow the cloth in one direction, it might work like magic!

Been using TRUE FIREPOWER (NIKKE) as my guitar mocap tech testing ground. Here’s the updated instrumental version with all the new tech I’ve built recently! ✨Glowing Strap —Replaced the traditional guitar strap with a dynamic light beam. It intelligently fades and conforms to the body surface near shoulders and chest, maintaining natural tension while completely eliminating clipping and clothing obstruction. Built with Catmull-Rom splines, my best answer to making virtual gear feel physically real. ✨String Dynamics — Strings now vibrate in sync with the actual performance. Bends and vibrato drive precise geometry deformation exactly where the fingers move. The stronger the bend, the brighter the white glow, mimicking real string reflection under tension. GPU-driven vertex displacement via custom Timeline tracks. ✨Gaze System Update — Eyes now track targets with natural eyelid follow. Looking down makes the lids droop realistically. Added blink detection to prevent eyelid clipping during blinks when looking down. ✨Leg IK Update — Foot is pulled downward to extend the knee, with a minimum bend angle to prevent lock-out. Deformation is subtly distributed across the whole leg, allowing the foot to reach its target without visible sliding or breaking the silhouette. #GuitarMocap #NIKKE #ギタリストVTuber

🎸 Leap Motion Finger Tracking on Guitar ✨chacha's tips: - Leap Motion needs a clear view of the wrist + front of the forearm to track stably. Guitar neck blocks it, so “desktop mode” (sensor below, looking upward) is the most reliable setup. - Mount it directly on the guitar body with a bracket, positioned under the neck and angled up at the left hand. - If you stay in one spot while playing, just placing it on a table looking up also works great. - For different fretboard positions (rhythm guitar vs solo guitar), you may need to slightly tweak the Leap Motion’s position and angle. - Route the data through Warudo or VSeeFace → OSC to VMC / Unity / whatever you use. - Leap Motion is discontinued now. Stretch-sensor gloves like StretchSense are super comfy for daily use, but they struggle with the tiny, fast finger movements in guitar playing. 🤘 Summary: For tracking guitar playing, Leap Motion is relatively affordable, extremely responsive, but has a higher learning curve and setup difficulty. #LeapMotion #GuitarMocap #VTuber
