I'd try timing a product reveal to a music cue: closed box at the start, lid opening on the beat, then a clean end frame. Being able to choose when the middle frame appears is the useful detail here.

first, middle and last gives me the poses. is there any say over the curve between them yet, or is the interpolation still whatever the model picks? that is the part i end up rebuilding by hand.

Somebody on github developed Hybrid MiniMax H3 Reference to Video node already over 1 month ago. Very likely these guys just copied that work and suggest there is innovation :) No it is not.
