Had to get this off my chest…

Also, chase 3 stars with 4 years experience.

Save it. Notre Dame was easily one of the best TEAMS in the country but you spent weeks advocating for shitty teams with an SEC patch on their jersey to get in over them. You're a hypocrite and everything that is wrong with College Football.

Miami quarterback has been in college football 7 years. The sport is broken!

If you think that, why did you and the GameDay crew support @Lane_Kiffin at the end of November abandoning Ole Miss to go to LSU? Btw, I did not enjoy your call of the game tonight. You two have lost your edge.

Experience of 23-25 year old veteran 4 stars will always be better than 5 star 18 year old freshman (with the exception of a few). So basically, you’re saying utilize the portal to the max. That’s what Cignetti did.

You said a mouthful the top people in this tournament are not five stars two exciting quarterbacks, Tony players who were leftover. Whoever is doing these preseason polls need to look for Team first versus who got the most five stars and who spent the most money and what conference they’re in.

@football305407 So are you saying, Ole Miss didn’t build a team? They had their head coach jump to LSU, and several coaches follow. And then for the semifinals, had some of those coaches who were with them for two playoff games go back to LSU. With all that, Ole Miss still could have won.

this fuck head campaigned for the SEC for two straight years. eat a dick

That’s exactly what it is at the end of the day. As Bill Belichick once said, he’s doing what’s best for the football team. T-E-A-M. It’s a team sport at the end of the day. You win as a team and you lose as a team.

Kirk acting like Miami didn’t throw millions of dollars at their roster and that Cristobal isn’t one of the most corrupt coaches in college football is HILARIOUS.

Your advocacy for a brutal Bama team over ND for weeks on end was the low point of your career. ND fans from coast to coast think you are a laughingstock

That got a bunch of 5th 6th and 7th year seniors. Thats the new college football. Get approved for eligibility you don’t deserve and play till your 24-25

Indiana’s team is a product of heavy portal leverage.

That is the clear lesson of this season. Build a TEAM.

Didn’t your Alma mater and your precious beloved buckeyes just win a natty spending 20 million dollars in the portal you jackass?

Transfer portal and current NIL situation is the death of college athletics/

Dude who doesn’t watch Army-Navy and FCS games and non top-25 games talking down to us about CFB 😭😭😭 GTFOH

You can tell this Miami team has chemistry on and off the field. These players would die for each other, these are not the best players but they’re full of heart and want to be here. 💯 spot on!

Yep, that’s what Notre Dame was, a complete team who had won 10 straight games. Instead you openly lobbied for Alabama to be in this playoff. Thanks for that, Kirk.

3 of the final four were in the top 5 in the 2025 transfer portal rankings per both 247 and on3.

Man Indiana and Miami have some of the oldest players. We need some rules man. Players that should’ve been moved on yrs ago still out there smh

I cant believe you didnt comment on the blatant holding all game long by the Miami OL. The Center 52 held on 75% of the plays. Surely you saw it, if not rewatch it. Miami has held all season long. Even the Beck TD there was a blatant hold on the edge.

@scottaxe We are all confused by you. Weaving and waffling and doing all these 180’s right at the end of the season. Taking credit for concepts others have shown to be the new way.

Indiana definitely has a team that plays well together and each player has their teammates back #CFBPlayoff

Kirk, Indiana is built with old transfers. Carson Beck was in school for six seasons. None of this is within the traditional spirit of the sport.

Don’t mention ole Miss or anything!!

Indiana didn't 'build' anything. They 'bought' them off the NIL market. QB Mendoza: 2023*California 2024*California 2025*Indiana Indiana football brought in a massive influx of talent via the transfer portal for the 2024 season, with sources citing around 30 total additions

One more thing y’all can discuss…..The last 3 games of the year are on a Thursday, Friday and Monday. Get College Football back on Saturdays!

This is the same guy who advocated for 5+ SEC teams (again) and … again … SEC teams got bounced. Three straight years of no SEC team making it to the Natty despite the deck being heavily stacked in their favor with nearly half the bids going to them.

Seriously, Kirk? Jakobe Thomas came to Miami from Tennessee by way of Middle Tennessee. He has no more interest in "playing for his guys" than does Carson Beck who left Georgia after purportedly "playing for his guys" and winning a National Championship. College sports today is no more than minor leagues and it's awful. There is no more team spirit, no playing for the pride of your school. It’s all about the money now. And just mark the time. Those “rivalries” that many of us came to love, like Ohio St-Michigan, Texas-Oklahoma, Alabama-Auburn will be gone soon too, like they have in the Big Leagues. There is no more hated NFL rivalries between the Browns and Steelers, Cowboys and Redskins, Packers and Bears, certainly not like they used to be. That deep, visceral hatred for the other team isn’t part of free agency and it won’t transfer along with a journeyman college player in the transfer portal. I know NIL and the transfer portal is here to stay. There is just too much money at stake and that genie will never be put back in the bottle. But let's not wax poetic about team pride. Those good ole days of college sports are dead, sadly.

You might be right here. But you've lost a lot of credibility over your SEC takes this year

Build a team? $ and the portal are building teams and destroying college football. Building a team comes from recruiting kids out of high school who want to be a part of a university and build a legacy together.

A message that’s going to be heard all over CFB

I thought only your quality losses mattered?
