Tifa Face rig test. I tried making a decent face rig using as few deformation bones as possible. I decided to use this Tifa model (which is from a mobile game) because it has less than 30 bones for the face (including the left and right sides). #b3d #rigging #tifa #FFVII

WIP I am currently integrating my "AI video texture" technique with face tracking scripts and active ragdoll physics in standalone VR. For this test video, I only applied the AI video texture to the face, but the body will look much more realistic once I apply the technique to the entire model. I've also figured out how to achieve highly detailed, realistic hair and foliage using the same technique.

Had an idea last night to test out the Atlas Splitter node and make this paint stroke copper material. It's a similar method that I used to do back at Riot for some of our R&D but a lot simpler. Really like the way it came out for a quick hour or so test.

Today I walk into the tunnel for half time … I left a lot of good work on the field in the first half … I’m excited to regroup and ponder what I did out “there” and come out stronger, with more intent and understanding and learnings from the 1st half. A while ago, I asked GNAY Open for animation/rig collab if I could do a Blender version of his Maya's Spider Silk rig. I decided to open the file that I was working on back then just to test. I kept some of the original joints and added a few extra bones, using bbones for a "curve-like" behaviour
