Went to Japan and even saw the snow for the first time in my life at the same time while visiting lot of MH places! I went to Gamescom and could both the MH directors and part of the community Went to Japan a SECOND time but invited for a Monster Hunter game, and got to met another MH director! I went from 2k followers to almost 7k followers, which for me, it's AMAZING and cannot thank you all enough, seriously Whenever I felt down, I just had to go an read all your replies, your DM's, the amount of love and laughs you all gave me cannot be quantified, you might underestimate my words but trust me, it helped me so much and I felt so close to a lot of the people The more I think of it, the more happy I am... Monster Hunter is a big part of my life and will always be! Hope you all can keep trusting me and my content, and I cannot imagine 2025 being better but sure hope so! I tried to put as much names on the video as I could, but there's a point one has to stop because otherwise I would end up with 20hours video haha If your name is not there, it's probably that reason alone There's also a possibility the auto-corrector rewrote some name wrong and I didn't notice it, sorry again! Thanks if you have read until here and even more, if you have watched the video. Thanks for everything, I'm almost crying just writting down this🥺

Insane video shows the drastic change in water level and devastation caused by the flooding in Western NC. Jay-Paul Thibault in Burnsville, NC filmed how quickly the water rose and the destruction that followed. Unfortunately this is the sad reality for hundreds if not thousands of families. Please keep praying, keep giving, keep sharing, and keep helping. I'll link to his GoFundMe to rebuild in the next post. 0:02 - The Distance From the River to the Bottom of the Bridge is 22 Feet Thu 9/26 - 8:48 AM 0:09 - "The water's already up about 5 feet I'm guessing... so it's pretty intense." Fri 9/27 - 7:34 AM 1:27 - "This is the road [completely under water] and there's no crossing on 19W." Fri 9/27 - 8:14 AM 1:48 - "I was just told this flood is going to exceed the flood of 1916 which dwarfed the flood of 1977." (The water is at the 1000-year level) 3:46 - "I think I'm going to lose the bridge." Fri 9/27 - 8:27 AM 5:56 - "Well there's not much I can do about it but the bridge is gone. I've got no way over there until we repair that." Fri 9/27 - 8:37 AM 6:28 - "So I'm safe and I'm at the Fire Station. We're gonna wait it out here." Fri 9/27 - 8:49 AM 6:56 - "We've got some trucks that got swept away and this is getting pretty crazy... there's the house that was just refinished and that looks like it could get swept away. I hope it doesn't. That's Jeff's house. I'd say we're close to 20 feet over the regular height of the river." Fri 9/27 - 10:10 AM 8:56 - "So we are now on the roof [on top of trucks in the fire station garage] hanging out watching the river go by and we've got about 6 more feet before it's at our feet here now." Fri 9/27 - 10:42 AM 9:13 - "We are punching our way out of the roof at this point in case the flood continues [cutting a hole in the ceiling with an ax to get to the roof of the fire station]. As you can see, everything in here is floating away." Fri 9/27 - 11:51 AM 9:43 - "Holy sh!t is all I can say [while on top of the roof]. The entire dump station is gone; the building, the trash containers." Fri 9/27 - 12:02 PM 12:08 - "Look at the house. Holy sh!t. That's going downstream... That house is just floating away. Been there for 100 years probably." Fri 9/27 - 3:08 PM 14:35 - "So I found my pickup truck [upside down and completely destroyed]." Fri 9/27 - 3:09 PM 14:47 - "So here's the road, or what's left of it." 16:34 - "All of my building is gone; all the construction I did... everything I own... everything that I built is gone. I don't know how to express this. The whole farm here is gone. This is where I parked my car and we had the bridge and it's just gone. So I guess you start over. I left the goats unlocked and they would've gone up the hill. But everything I've done for the last 2 years is pretty much non-existent."

#Donghae #동해 Fr0mm live 🐯: I have some work to do, so I’m about to head off now. This week’s listening party, it’s my first time trying a listening party. I’m really looking forward to it. Are you looking forward to it too? The listening party is where we all gather together and take some time to listen to the music. You’ve already seen the highlight medley for this album, right? Which one do you like? Should we listen together? “Rocket”, since we performed it at the Super Show encore, it should feel familiar, right? And since it’s familiar, you’ll be able to sing along well, right? I’ll be looking forward to that at the concert. “Race” is cool, right? It’s also a song I really like. Honestly, all the songs this time are good, right? Tell me honestly, if you don’t like something, just say you don’t. This is for you. Alright, let’s move to the next song. At the concert, you all have to do this together, okay? This is definitely a group sing-along. I intentionally added a lot of those parts in this album. Since you’re coming to the venue, I wanted to create parts where everyone can sing together. “Rocket” is like that, “Help” is like that, there are a lot of parts where you’ll need to join in. So I want it to feel like we’re creating the performance together. Okay? Let’s listen to the next one. So that Annie won’t wither, I’ll keep watering it, so it doesn’t fade. I’ll become your season, so that I can always be there for you. So you just have to become my flower. You have to sing this part too, I won’t sing here. “Beautiful flower” you know it, right? You’re looking forward to the concert, right? And also the listening party right now? Alright, next song. “Beautiful” is also a song I really, really like. I kept thinking it would be great to include it in this album. And I made it thinking you’d really love it when you hear the track. Right now, I’m reviewing the highlight medley visual film. We need moments like this too, right? And then, every October we always meet and have a birthday party, right? This will be the theme song for that. Among you today, there must be someone whose birthday it is. Happy birthday to you~ This is crazy, there’s not a single bad song. Even when I listen to it myself, it sounds so good. I’m really, really proud. And seeing you all like it this much, that means a lot. Alright, next, so we don’t miss anything This really feels like Donghae’s vibe, right? This is totally his emotional style. I really remember when I was making this song. I wondered, “Can I really do all of this?” And it was really cold back then while filming. My body kept shaking like this, it was so cold. I really like all of them. I worked hard on every single song. And finally, the last one: The reason I made “Good Day” is because I sincerely wanted to tell you to have a good day, every single day. And I made it thinking that when you listen to this song, it could be the moment you wake up each day. All of us, me included, there are times in life when we feel tired, struggle, and want to give up. I’ll talk more about it after the album is released. But whatever happens, I hope you never give up. You might feel down right now, or feel like giving up, whether it’s friendships, love, or anything at all. But don’t give up. Because I’m here, and you also have people around you who love you. And the sunlight will greet you again. So I hope you endure until the end. This album, really, is for you, and it contains a lot of things I wanted to say to you. So when it comes out, I hope you fully enjoy that time. Another reason I made this a full album is, these days, if you release a mini album, you can’t even listen for 30 minutes. It’s like 20-something minutes, right? Songs are getting shorter too. So I wanted you to spend a longer time enjoying music with this album. Music shows? Probably next week. Dress code for the concert? I’ll tell you a bit later. I’ll prepare a bit more and then let you know. Good night

Standby IOI Episode 1 first aired in April 22, 2016. This is when I officially took my passion for translating and subbing for fans into full gear due to the love I had for Produce 101 and IOI. I was always sleep deprived but pushed hard to sub 1-1.5 hour long videos just so I can help fans enjoy the content I was privileged enough to be able to enjoy as a Korean not needing subtitles. (I am also an attention seeker to some degree and can honestly say it was also for the recognition). 10 years have passed now and it's April 22, 2026 in some parts of the globe. With the lack of experience and not having methods and know-hows to sub efficiently back then, I look back at my old projects and admit to how shitty they were. I can confidently say were great in getting the translations accurately but the timing, the font color/types, the stylistic choices could all have been better. Due to these gripes, I have always thought about remastering my shitty subs for Standby IOI series throughout the years because these were my first ever subs I released to the public so they were the victim of the most shittiest subs naturally, but I lost the fire I had of subbing and got too lazy to ever do it. Also add in the fact that K-POP culture has evolved so much that majority of content gets subbed on release and fansubbing has been fading out as a result so putting in the effort to fansub in present time doesn't feel as rewarding either. IOI is now coming back for their 10th anniversary and I feel ecstatic and I'm excited and with this emotion I wanted to prove to myself I can still do it if I really dedicate time and effort so I did and it was very rough. My lifestyle changed and I don't feel like spending multiple nights after work just subbing but I just wanted to see if I could pull it off still and I'm proud to say I did. April 22, 2026 I remastered Standby IOI Ep.1 exactly 10 years since it's release date and I hope people are still interested enough to watch and enjoy it even though it's an old show. I had a rush of nostalgia watching it again and hopefully you experience the same. I cannot guarantee a timely release on Ep.2 though, my main goal was to commemorate the 10th by getting Ep.1 done by the 22nd. I'll slow down on Ep.2 for my own sanity but will try to get to it slowly. Please excuse any mistakes if you find any and thank you for reading this stupidly long post. #아이오아이 #IOI #StandbyIOI

Pragmata Review | No spoilers That is it for me. I played more than 30 hours of Pragmata and I am really happy that not only we finally got this game after so many delays and in a time where cancellations are common, but also that it turned out to be a very solid and enjoyable experience. Visually it is beautiful, and gameplay wise it works well for the length it has. It is not a long game, which I personally prefer, and I hope we see more titles like this instead of games trying to be longer just for the sake of it. I would not call it short like some people did, but I think it is exactly as long as it needs to be. Story wise, it is my favorite of the year so far. Seeing this kind of father and daughter dynamic again made me want to play more games with similar themes. I did almost everything in the game and I absolutely recommend it. If you are unsure about the length, maybe wait for a sale, but quality wise it deserves to be up there. I am not someone who rushes, so it took me longer because I admire the environments, take screenshots, record videos, and try to find collectibles without guides. For someone who just plays straight through, I think it would take around 12 to 15 hours, maybe a bit more or less. This is the kind of experience I want to see more often in the gaming space. I liked the combat and I think the enemy variety is fine for the length. If the game was longer without adding new enemy types, it would probably feel repetitive, but for what it is, it works. My biggest concern before playing was the combination of Hugh’s shooting and Diana’s hacking. If it was too complicated, it would be annoying, and if it was too simple, it would be boring. Thankfully, it ended up being exactly right. My only real complaint is that you need to return to the base to restock items, and when you die, the game sends you back there instead of placing you right before the area or at the last travel point you unlocked. It is not a huge issue, but it breaks the flow a bit. Diana is very cute and does her part extremely well, and Hugh is a character that is hard not to like. They both nail the dad simulator vibe. The voice acting is great, especially for Diana. Capcom delivered a unique and impressive new IP, which is always welcome in an industry where big publishers mostly rely on established franchises instead of taking risks. Whether we get more entries in the future is up to them, but it is also up to us to support games like this if we want more of them. On PC the game runs very well. The only thing that felt a bit underwhelming to me is the ray tracing when you use it on its own without path tracing. In some areas it does not add much, similar to what I noticed in Resident Evil Requiem. It makes me think it is either something with the RE Engine or simply that Capcom does not push ray tracing that far and focuses more on path tracing instead. Path tracing looks incredible, but of course it comes with a heavy performance cost. Something that impressed me throughout the entire playthrough is how consistent the game feels from start to finish. There is no point where it suddenly drops in quality or feels rushed. Every area has its own atmosphere, the pacing stays steady, and the game never tries to drag itself out longer than needed. It is rare to play something that stays this steady all the way through, and that alone made the whole experience even more enjoyable for me. I hope we get a DLC or a sequel one day, but even if this stays a one off, I am happy with what we got. Rating: 9/10

🤷🏻‍♂️ UNREAL.. 55 MILLION IMPRESSIONS ON A POST IN A WEEK . NIGERIAN/AFRICAN GRIFTING ENGAGEMENT CIRCLE FARMS making a fortune with a photo and a paragraph off X Payout Monetization. Nikita Bier was SPOT ON when he wanted to regionalize it so those engagements and payout stay in their home nation. Jack Posobiec said the exact same thing as well Last year being ahead of the curve. I put effort into every singular one of my posts … with research … never engagement farm but for some reasons since the Minneapolis ICE event in January my account has been VISIBILITY LIMITED WHICH MEANS despite engagement the algo would rather push the people above than my content. I’m not sure if it was a brigading mass reporting event but regardless I have no answers. All I can tell everyone is my story and I hope Nikita Bier has the chance to see this as well. I went on X after finding out Elon purchased it because I was thrilled we wouldn’t be suppressed for opinion finally. This was after a 9 year hiatus of not using Twitter. It was right after Butler because I was absolutely incensed that someone tried to harm our President in July of 2024. It was a MISSION to get the person who represents us Americans elected and threw my soul into this.. my heart myself into this the moment they tried to JFK 2.0 a man I have supported since 2015. It was a calling. It was never about money for me… Elon saved us from 1000 years of darkness and preserved free speech. Somewhere along the line after years of making nothing and pouring my heart into my posts I was lucky enough to be paid..my first X Payout was 50 bucks… I said to everyone of my friends I’m head just to break even on Premium . And one day after year being paid after spending hours a day with the SOLE GOAL of trying to do my part in what TINY WAY they started very generously compensating us.. my account was made in 2012 but I never used it because it was propaganda controlled Twitter. I RETURNED WHEN I SAW ELON DO THE MOST ALTRUISTIC THING ANYONE EVERY COULD IN 2024 And I had 12 followers and turned it in 74k . Then after The ICE Minneapolis in January incident when my account has just been absolutely throttled… I waited it out for days and weeks at a time without posting and contacted support to try to get an answer but to no avail. I stopped making content and commentary because I was told by Grok that I needed to stop posting for prolonged periods of time. Which I did in 10 day , 13 day and the multiple 2 week intervals. I went from making a good amount of money to absolutely ZERO Because the algorithm despite my heavy engagement would not push me. It is what it is and I am grateful for all X did BUT I just wish the support would respond quicker and explain on the algorithm changes and how to adapt. I have barely made content in MONTHS because I was trying to follow the advice to let the algo reset. 3 months later … it upsets me to see low effort foreign accounts racking up visibility while I now am vanished. Instead as you can see below it is boiler plate response from Premium I would invest HOURS of my day crafting posts.. yet here I am.. and people who clip Game of Thrones episodes in Nigeria ARE GETTING MILLIONS OF IMPRESSIONS in an engagement farm repost grift. Anyway. I said my peace. I’m happy above all we have a FREE SPEECH FORUM. Below is my conversation with support and my analytics prior to the OUT OF NOWHERE January cliff.

Three days ago I asked myself a dumb question. It was so stupid I was actually ashamed to Google it. Can AI earn money while I sleep? Not saving time. Not automating routine. I mean putting real money into my account while I am not looking at the screen. Everyone says ClawdBot will change how we work. Automation. Task management. Smart replies. But I was sitting in my kitchen thinking about something else entirely. You know that feeling when you look at a tool and realize everyone is using only 1% of its potential? It is like being given a race car and only using it to drive to the store for bread. I decided to test it. I started a notebook. I record everything. > Day One I started with something simple. I gave Clawdbot a task. Find wallets on Polymarket where the numbers do not add up. Where the profit is too high for the win rate. Where the result smells like a system rather than luck. It thought for 14 minutes. I had time to pour a coffee and forget about it. Then the screen flashed. 4 addresses. I scrolled through the first three in a minute. Big bets on politics. They guessed the election. Classic. On the fourth one I stopped. Not because it was the most profitable but because I did not understand what I was looking at. The wallet was not trading politics or sports or anything people write reviews about. It was trading the weather. I read it three times. Weather. Will it be 9 degrees in London tomorrow? Will it rain in Tokyo? These are markets I would not even click on by accident. Then I looked at the numbers. > It started with $27. It is now at $63,853. $27 is two trips to McDonald's. It is nothing. $63,853 is a new car or a down payment on an apartment. It is two years of someone's salary. Between those two numbers was only one thing. Thousands of bets on rain. I closed the tab. Opened it again. Checked if it was a glitch. Real dollars. On markets that look like a bad joke. > Day Two I could not get that wallet out of my head. I went to look at its transaction history. I expected to find one big win that explained everything. A lucky hurricane forecast. Instead I saw thousands of small bets. Boring. "Will the temperature in New York be above 15 degrees?" Then I noticed the detail that finally broke my brain. Its win rate: 33%. It loses more often than it wins. 2 out of 3 bets go to zero. Any normal person with that result would be posting about how the market is unfair. Yet this wallet is sitting on $63,000 in profit. How? I started deconstructing the trades. After an hour I got it. When it loses, it loses 10 or 20 cents. When it wins, it takes $1.00. Loses 9 times in a row? Lost $1.80. Wins 1 time? Got $10.00. > This is not trading. It is math that works as long as you do not interfere with your emotions. Here is how it works. Weather is one of the most predictable things on the planet. Governments invest billions in satellites. Data is updated every 2 or 3 hours. Precision to a tenth of a degree. This data is public. But Polymarket is not a weather station. It updates its markets with a delay of 6 or 8 hours. Imagine the situation. 6 AM. The weather service updated the forecast. The probability that London reaches 9 degrees tomorrow rose to 80%. Algorithms everywhere already recalculated the data. But on Polymarket the YES button is still sitting there for 10 cents. Because the market has not woken up yet. This bot sees the difference. It buys YES for 10 cents when the real probability is already 80%. It is not guessing. It is buying what is essentially already known. It just waits a day and collects the dollar. 10 cents turn into a dollar. On information available to anyone who can read weather APIs. That evening I called a friend. He has been trading for 3 years. He sits in analytical chats. Draws support levels. I asked him: "How was the last month?" "I broke even. The market is tough right now. Too much noise." I looked at the screen. A bot betting on rain with a 33% win rate. Profit: $63,853. My friend with 3 years of experience and hundreds of hours of analysis. Profit: $0. Who is doing it wrong? I am not asking you to take my word for it. The blockchain does not lie: > Day Three I decided to dig deeper. I looked at the wallet description. I expected something complex. A hedge fund. A team of developers. Secret data sources. I found one line: Claude plus public weather APIs. Ordinary Claude. The one on your phone. Connected to free weather services. No secret stations. No insiders. No millions for infrastructure. Just an AI doing what any of us could do. But we are too lazy. Or bored. Or we think it is too simple to work. If someone already built this with basic Claude and free APIs... What happens when Clawdbot gets direct access to trading? > Day Four I watched the wallet in real time. First bet: loss. Second bet: loss. Third bet: loss. I thought: this is it. The statistics are collapsing. Fourth bet: loss. Fifth bet: loss. Down $12 in an hour. I was ready to write a post about how I overestimated this. Sixth bet: Temperature in Chicago. Win. +$87. Seventh bet: Win. +$94. By evening: 9 losses. 5 wins. Daily total: +$385. No emotions. No posts about injustice. No strategy changes after a loss. Just the next bet. I wrote to my friend. The one who has been trading for 3 years. "How was your day?" "Down $200. Market makers caught my stop loss again." I looked at the screen. A bot with no posts and no loud claims. +$385 for the day on rain bets. My friend with 3 years of experience and dozens of books. Minus $200 and a post about how the system is against him. > Day Five I woke up with a thought that kept me up all night. It finally hit me. It is not about the weather. It is not about APIs. It is not that the bot is "smarter". > It is about what the bot does NOT have: an ego that hates being wrong. No urge to revenge-trade. No boredom from repetition. My friend trades against the market. He tries to be smarter than the crowd. This bot trades against human nature. And nature loses every day. Clawdbot found me this wallet in 14 minutes. The weather bot turned $27 into $63,000 on markets everyone else thinks are trash. Both use the same principle. Do something simple. Remove emotions. Repeat. I do not know when Clawdbot will start trading on its own. Maybe in a month. Maybe in a year. But I know one thing. While we discuss if it is possible... Someone already set up their bot and went to live their life. Right now as you read this. Somewhere a weather service updated a forecast. Polymarket is sleeping. The bot is already entering a position. And my friend is writing a post about how market makers do not let honest people earn. Guess who wakes up tomorrow with money in their account?

A guy sold his watch company for $100,000,000. Years later, he was “lonelier than ever and deeply depressed.” His life was stress-free, “really cushy,” and he could play video games whenever he wanted. But when he sold his company, he lost something more valuable than money: “the hunt.” Dr. Andrew Huberman explains: “Some guy made a [$100 million], and a couple weeks later he said, ‘I don’t know what’s going on, but I feel like I’m depressed.’” “And I just said, ‘That’s dopamine.’ He got the reward, and what he misses is the hunt.” “You have to stay in the hunt. This is like the WILL TO LIVE is the HUNT FOR NEW THINGS.” Below is the post from the guy who discovered that money and unlimited comfort actually didn’t make him happy. It’s a fascinating case study. Well worth reading: “I sold my company MVMT a few years ago for a lot of money and thought all my problems would be solved. I made my life really cushy and comfortable. I optimized for being as stress free as possible. I play video games when I want, I wake up when I want and really have no reason to get out of bed if I don’t want to. I always thought this was the dream and that I’d be happy forever… until I wasn’t. I realize I’m in an incredibly unique situation and wanted to share some things I’ve learned and am still working through. “I’m new to this subreddit but it looks like a lot of you feel as I do and did when trying to find a career. I don’t necessarily have any deep passions or skill sets that translate into a career. I started my ecommerce company solely out of the desire to make money. I’m an introvert and being behind a computer felt comfortable. The unhealthy desire for ego and money gave me motivation and fulfillment to build the company. I had no experience aside from the willingness to try and fail and try again. I had an unhealthy relationship with myself and my values in life were not true to who I was. It allowed me to be successful but still I was unhappy. My money and ego were the driving forces. After selling the company, I realized the only way to get the same highs would have been to start a bigger company and make more money. (Also known as the hedonic treadmill) But those were external motivations. I now only cared about authentic motivations, things I wanted to work on if money and ego weren’t the driving forces. “Fast forward to now, I’ve been separated from the company for 2 years. I’m 31, single and never have to work again. I’ve also been lonelier than ever and deeply depressed. I really believe that we need purpose in our lives to be happy. For some that might be raising a family and for others that’s a career. For a lot of us on this subreddit I don’t think we’re looking solely for money. I think we want a career that has deeper meaning to us. The last couple years I’ve really been working on what my personal values are and what makes me tick. It’s really helped me align with what I care about and trying to find a career that aligns with those values. We’ll never love 100% of our job, I think that’s important to remember. I’d recommend taking a Myers-Briggs personality test. It’s helped realign me with some old hobbies and thought patterns. “If you don’t know what you’re passionate about, think back to when you were a kid. What did you gravitate towards. Even if you never took it to the next level. It’s literally never too late. What did you enjoy being bad at? “Last piece of advice that I struggle with still is failing. We need to just start. Fuck it, even if it’s the wrong direction and we fail or realize we don’t like what we’re doing. There are lessons in everything. We can plan and analyze forever but there are lessons that are unknown until you start moving forward. You cannot live without struggle and pain. We either choose our struggle and pain or it will find us through depression and loneliness. “I have more to say but I’ll save it for another post. “TLDR: “1.) Money past a certain point won’t make you happier, in fact it will make you feel lonelier “2.) Find your values, what makes you tick “3.) F*ck it, just start and fail. There are lessons everywhere.”

There are some moments in life that stay in your heart forever, and seeing Freen Sarocha in person for the very first time is one of those moments for me. 🌷🥹 SAROCHA AT VALENTINO FW 2026 #MaisonValentinoFW26XFreen #ValentinoInterferenze #srchafreen For so long, she had only existed on a screen in front of my eyes, through photos, videos, interviews, and every little moment we held onto as fans from afar. She always felt so close to my heart, and yet impossibly far away at the same time. So being there, in that moment, knowing she was truly right there in front of me, felt almost impossible to believe. At the beginning, the weather made everything feel even more uncertain. The rain, the cold, and the waiting made the whole moment feel like something I had dreamed of too many times to trust it was really happening. I didn’t even get to see her arrive or enter the building, and for a while, I truly thought that maybe this was not going to be the day I would finally see her. That feeling was heartbreaking, because when you carry such a special hope in your heart for so long, even a small disappointment can feel enormous. But somehow, at the end of the show, everything changed. The rain finally stopped, and at last, I was able to see her up close. And in that instant, all the waiting, all the cold, all the uncertainty disappeared. It was replaced by pure emotion. Seeing Freen with my own eyes for the first time was far more overwhelming and beautiful than I could ever have imagined. No screen, no photo, no video could ever compare to the feeling of that real moment. I was so deeply emotional, so overwhelmed, and so genuinely happy that it is still difficult to fully describe it. It was not just excitement — it was something much more profound. It was the feeling of seeing someone who has brought so much light, comfort, and inspiration into your life, and finally realizing that the moment you once thought was impossible had become real. My heart was full in a way words can barely explain. As part of Freen Europe Official, and simply as a person who has admired and supported her with all my heart, this is a memory I will cherish forever. Seeing Freen for the first time, and so close, after only knowing her through a screen for so long, was truly unforgettable. It was one of the most beautiful and emotional moments of my life, and I know I will carry it with me always. 🤍 ~ Admin Joanna ✨

My fox shooting garden defending AI robot is finally done and WORKING! 🤩 (Don’t worry it only shoots 💦 water) After months of slowly moving forward with each part I finished the last step to train a TensorFlow model on the footage of the 🦊 fox I collected hours of footage 📹 with the fox roaming around my garden, from this I labeled around 2000 images with the fox by hand ✋ Honestly, I was quite skeptical training the model was actually gonna work, maybe this was partly the reason I avoided working on this until the very end. If I couldn’t train a model to detect the fox, this whole robot would never be able to function properly. On the flipside though, with no previous experience in hardware or electronics there was a bit of a learning curve and I didn’t want to end up labeling thousands of images, training a TensorFlow model, only to fail on building the hardware. As I started building, I realized that mixing hardware and software adds quite another dimension to debugging things. At times I wasted hours debugging code in my IDE, only to realize the issue was somewhere in the electronics. Furthermore, combining this side project with a full time job and a young family, is not always easy. It can be quite frustrating, to know you only need 4 hours of concentrated effort for a small task, having to spread it out across a week of 20min increments. Then, a few months into the build I noticed the fox had stopped coming to my garden, in fact one day, I recorded her walking with 3 cute little 🐶 pups, and the next day I saw her moving out of my garden completely. Did she know I was building a robot? I had this strange mix of feelings, happy my garden was safe from poop and digging, happy she was safe with her pups, but how was I gonna finish this project if my robot had no fox to detect? For sure they would be back next year, I figured I could postpone the whole thing until next winter, but I also knew it was gonna be much harder to pick up momentum if I did let it sit there for six months. So I decided to keep working, hoping the fox would reappear,.. but she never did. As I finished labeling the footage and started training my model, I could finally see the mAP results, quantifying the precision of my object detection model. It was measuring at 78% across different metrics on detecting my fox. I quickly ran the model on some of the video footage I got from my fox. Inference speed took a hit, but it did a near perfect job detecting the fox, even when she was deep down in the grass or wizzing past in a motion blur. It took me by surprise how well it worked. With the default model I had to drop my confidence threshold way down to 15%, to recognize the fox as 🦜“bird” in one or two frames, with my custom model it followed the fox all the way down to the back of the garden! Still this didn’t solve the issue of there being no actual fox in my garden and how was I gonna wrap this project in a short timeframe. I played with the idea of putting a fox toy 🧸 on an RC 🚗 car, or borrowing a dog to run around the garden to test. Friends suggested I run around the garden in a fox costume.. what a ridiculous idea. I wasn’t really feeling the idea of running around the garden in a floppy cloth fox 🎭 costume, but had a look anyway. I came across these self inflating costumes. This actually could be perfect. Since it’s inflated, it would hold its shape super well, making it much easier to label, train and be recognized by my robot. So I got the costume and shot a time lapse of myself as a fox walking around the garden. I labeled it to around 600 images. Ran the model training again and got a mAP result of 82%. This was even better than my real fox! At this point I knew this was gonna work. So here’s the final 🎥 video, just having some fun with it. I’ll update here whenever the real fox does come back. On a final note, I’m looking for (remote) jobs in these fields of AI now: - object detection - visual generative AI - 3D (nerfs + gaussian splats) So if you know anything let me know! My DMs are open 😊

[𝙁𝙖𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 | 𝙎𝙤𝙛𝙩 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨] If I were to write this memory into a story, I’d definitely have this POV of my “Finally.” Each of your fans carry their own story, I even knew a few chapters of ‘em. But here’s mine. The last 5 years of my life was spent in solidifying my foundation in both career and business. Given that I came from nothing, this hits home and this is why I always say that Freen’s story is a representation of what a breadwinner in SEA looks like. Fast forward, I finally managed to graduate, build a career, and buy my mom a house where my sister and I can live with her. 5 years into working, not having fun despite of earning more than regular—it feels living like a hamster in a wheel. It’s exhausting and can make you ask “is this all about life?” “Why does having fun and being happy with life feels like a luxury?” Last year, I told my mom that I’d pause for a while and get myself sometime to have fun. This is why she’s so supportive. I even told a friend who often goes to concerts, “Hopefully, y’all are still available when it’s time for me to have fun. Because what if not? What if I’m finally able to find a time and you’re just no longer there?” The thought breaks me. So I decided that “2023 will be my year.” But then again, aside from Taylor Swift, who am I gonna stan? 5H went on hiatus years ago. It’s hard for me to stan just anyone. 😭 December came, I don’t have plans on Christmas eve after the regular activities of Filipino families when the clock strike 12 midnight. Decided to finally gave #GapTheSeries a chance—I’ve been seeing them in my FYP for quite sometime. However, I was also going through a spiritual crisis at the time so I don’t usually feed myself much of this content. But heeeey, now we’re here. 🤍 When it got announced that they’d be here in March, I prayed, manifested, and wish every forces in the Universe to allow me secure MVP. Same happened with #FreenBeckyFanBoomMNL but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a front row despite camping at MOA the night before. Then Aromagicare Official®️ announced #FreenBeckyAromagicare, and I was so ready to try again. I’d like to know how it feels being in the front row, and having that chance to see them up close. AND THIS, my “one day” turned into “finally”. 😭 I’d only want to thank P'freen (real) & Becky Armstrong for existing and for being my source of happiness in this noisy and hustling world. My life continues but I always find comfort and rest with you. Thank you, too, for being the reason why I met new people turned into friends. 🥺🌷 Thank you Aromagicare Official®️ for capturing this moment for me. 🥺💛 To other fans who haven’t gotten the chance yet, hold onto it, it can happen. Trust me. Look forward to your “one day” and work on it. The Universe is kind to those who doesn’t give up. I look forward to seeing your “finally” story when the time comes. With love, RAE 💛 #beckysangels #srchafreen #ฟรีนเบค #FreenBecky

#リチャアヤ Happy Qixi! On this traditional Chinese festival, my friend and I have prepared this fan video, and we hope you enjoy it. BGM: ALONE to ALONE (feat. lasah)-sasakure.UK Illustrations: torimomo Video: Mist Since Mist-sensei's account ran into some issues, I'm relaying and attaching both of our creative notes here. Mist: The initial storyboards for this fan-made video were drawn by me, and I had been thinking about how to present it ever since the first season of the anime ended. The BD novel also gave me a lot of inspiration afterward. Before formally starting this project, I kept asking myself over and over: "Is my interpretation good enough?" "Will our understanding conflict with the original novel?" What changed my mind and gave me encouragement was precisely what Dumas said in the FGO×FSF collab—if your creation can bring people true joy and emotion, then even if it is "Fake," it still has value in existing. So, in a sense, wouldn't fan-made derivative works based on Narita-sensei's "Fake" original all count as "Fake of Fake"? In this year of 2026, I witnessed with my own eyes the novel I had followed for ten years finally receive an anime adaptation. I also came to know a warm and passionate community of fellow fans who speak different languages. And it is precisely because of this that I was able to meet torimomo-sensei and other friends. Sometimes I wonder—are these the friendships that could only bloom and bear fruit after ten years of waiting? And in the novel, Richard and Ayaka have likewise been by each other's side for ten years, and are now about to welcome the final chapter of their story. In my eyes, the two of them were once lonely children of the stars, but after a long passage of time, those two stars welcomed their Fate in Snowfield. No matter how many times I revisit their first meeting, it stirs in me much the same emotion. Allright! At that moment, I thought: "I've finally found the courage to take this first step into creating derivative works for Fake. Come on—now that my skills have matured enough, let me pour my heart and talent into them!" This is a fan work created together by torimomo-sensei and me, dedicated to Fate/strange Fake and to our beloved Richaya. Although it is likewise only "Fake," if this fan video can bring "True" emotions to friends who love Richaya—then, for me, that would be an incomparable honor. Torimomo: From first receiving the storyboards and drawing a few pages on and off, to finally mustering all my energy and drawing in earnest from the beginning of July—during this past month and a half, almost all of my thoughts, energy, and passion were poured into the illustrations for this PV. It was only partway through drawing that I realized, "Wait, it seems Mist's storyboards weren't meant to be fully colored after all..." (laughs). But since I had already come this far, and both the art style and rhythm had already become second nature, I decided to see it through to the end according to my own interpretation. I also changed quite a few of the storyboards along the way, and I am truly grateful to Mist for being so accepting of these modifications and creative liberties. To me, Richaya is a beam of light. I love the relationship between them, bound by the pull of fate; I love how they encourage and support each other; and I also love the perfect amount of negative space in Fate/strange Fake. It is precisely because of that negative space that different people can give rise to different imaginations and expectations—and that, in itself, is the greatest joy of derivative creation. I have so many imaginings of Richaya born from the wish that "they can be happy." Ever since I met Richaya this year, I have been drawing without pause. I don't hold back from pouring every image and story I can think of that suits them into my art. And it was precisely because of this that I was able to form a connection with Mist—through exchange after exchange of inspiration, each of us went on to create even more wonderful works about Richaya. This animated PV is one of them. For me, simply being able to see it through to the end was already more than enough to make me happy. And after Mist-sensei's post-production polish and editing, it ultimately came together as such a complete video. I'm truly satisfied. Lastly, thank you to everyone who was willing to take the time to watch this video through to the end.

Junkyu being open about his burnout and how he overcame that phase is something that truly amazed me. His beautiful words that encourage everyone why pacing yourself actually matters 🥺🤍 🐨: I actually went through myself a burnout recently… was it in 2025? It’s not that I started to hate music, but when it came to making music, to working on it, I hit burnout. I really did. Nothing felt fun anymore, and no matter what I did, I just couldn’t move forward. No matter what—seriously, no matter what. 🐨: I work on music on my Mac, right? and I didn’t turn it on for a whole year. A year? Maybe even a year and a half? Since sometime in late 2024? It’s not that I chose not to turn it on—I couldn’t. That thought kept coming to me, “Even if I turn it on, nothing will come out” or maybe, “Even if I turn it on, I won’t get anywhere close to what I want”. My interest just… how should I say it… completely dropped. So I couldn’t turn it on. I was scared—scared that I’d have to face that feeling again. So I kept my distance from it. 🐨: But this time, starting in Korea and then going on tour, meeting TEUMEs a lot as we move through 2025 and into 2026, without even realizing it, I felt refreshed. Like I’d been aired out and I thought, “Huh? should I try again?”, “I kind of want to do it again”. “I want to go back to when I really enjoyed this”. “I want to try again—the thing I loved back then. So I finally made up my mind and turned it on. and when I did… it had been so long that I got chills. I’d forgotten everything—the details, the keys, everything. “How did I even do this before?”, “What values did I use?” I’d forgotten it all. 🐨: I completely panicked. I thought, “Oh… is this how it ends?”, “Is this how I lose the thing I love?” I was honestly really scared. And then another thought came to me “turn a crisis into an opportunity”. Maybe this is a chance for me to find something else I love. Maybe I should let it go. I was almost halfway in a state of giving up. But somehow, my body followed through anyway. My hands kept moving—on their own. Somehow, I knew what to do, how to do it. and naturally, without stopping, the flow didn’t break. So maybe I want to stay with music for a really long time in my life. And I think this process of slowing myself down a bit was part of that. Looking back now, the pace had been way too fast, and I couldn’t control myself. I’d pushed myself to the limit of what I could create, and after that, there was nothing left. 🐨: At that point, I was kind of cruel to myself. I blamed myself for everything… It’s a really bad habit, I think, but it just happens reflexively. So I was really hard on myself. That’s when I realized I needed to take a step back, give myself some distance, and look at things over a longer period of time. Yeah… if you just move at your own pace—not faster, not slower—you can do something for a long time. So I think if you want to spend your life with something you really love—whatever it is—you can’t go too fast. If your passion just burns up too quickly, it can cause problems. That’s why pacing yourself matters. If you manage your pace, you can live your life alongside the things you love for a long, long time. I really felt it this time. And because of that, I was so happy. Being able to do what I love again brought back so many memories, and it felt like I’d returned to those days when I used to enjoy it so purely. That made me incredibly happy.

Technically is dead; long live Technically Some bittersweet news for you all today: after 5 years writing Technically and more than 100 posts about everything from APIs to data warehouses to Facebook DNS hacks, today I am (for the most part) shutting the Technically Substack down… …and replacing it with Technically 2.0, an amazing software product I’ve been working with David Krevitt on for the past 6 months. But first… For a newsletter that started with an innocent tweet while I was bored in Haneda airport, this thing has come pretty far. 70K+ subscribers, yada yada. But you’re here for the story so here it is. It was December 2019, I was traveling before moving to SF to start at Retool, and like I said, I was bored. Late 2019 – what an amazing time to start a newsletter! There weren’t that many of them out there. And then came 2020. Everyone was stuck at home with nothing to do but sign up for more and more Substacks, and talk about them on the internet. Every day, another one of your friends was announcing a newsletter on Twitter. It was the golden era, no doubt, and many people like me combined hard work, a good idea, and the old fashioned “right place right time” streak of luck to build a really nice Substack business. I’ll never forget the day Ben Thompson referenced Technically in Stratechery. I must have gotten 50 texts from friends. Everyone was reading Stratechery at the time…it was like becoming a made man. There was this almost communal vibe in the air with these newsletters. Everyone was reading the same stuff, talking about the same stuff. It was a scene is what it was. But by 2022 things were changing. People were outside again, and had less free time to read newsletters. Interest rates were going up, and people were working more (even in offices). In the paid Substack group chats, most of us were reporting stalling or negative growth, even though we hadn’t changed anything on our end. And with 50% churn rates on these subscriptions, if you weren’t growing you were dying. I’m listening to Neil Young’s “After the Gold Rush” as I write this and it couldn’t be more fitting. Although I imagine Mr. Young himself would disapprove of the whole paid newsletter endeavor. What happened to newsletters? David and I call what’s going on “Substack Fatigue” – people are just tired of reading yet another newsletter, let alone paying for one. Newsletters are just not the thing anymore. There are some fast growing news ones focused on AI, but the same story is going to play out in a few years when everything cools down. Political newsletters are fully investing in video and podcasts. Newsletters are not the thing anymore. We rode a cultural wave and the wave is over. You don’t have to die, but you have to adjust. The wrench in this whole story is that Technically was only (very) part time for me. I’m pretty sure at one point I was generating the most revenue on Substack for someone who wasn’t focusing on their newsletter full time. Which is a sick flex no doubt, but was also a huge problem, because I just didn’t have the time or mental capacity to make the big moves required to reverse the trend. Technically started to slowly lose paid subscribers every month, but I was at peace with that. I was entering a new phase in my life, settling down a bit, enjoying spending time on cooking, cocktails, and music. Approaching 30 and feeling really good about everything. It’s OK for some things to be temporary, and I was content with Technically to continue to be useful to people…just not make as much money. But in the back of my head, I always knew that Technically had a lot more potential, and deserved more than I could give it. That there’s no reason this thing couldn’t be a $1M+/year business. I continue to believe that technical literacy is going to be one of the defining social problems of our era, and the progress in AI only makes this even more critical. It should be way more than a newsletter, it should be how everyone learns what the fuck is going on in this digital world. I needed some help. But I had a bad track record of getting people to work on Technically with me. It’s hard to share custody of your child. And I am extremely particular. I’m not always the easiest to work with. Worked with some contractors here and there, but never found a more long term partner. I’m extremely grateful that David Krevitt reached out to me when he did or this paragraph would end here. Instead, after regaling you with my boring tale for many paragraphs now, I can finally share what we’ve been working on since last year. It’s called Technically 2.0. It’s all of the content you know and love, but built as a piece of software specifically aimed at helping people get more technical. No more newsletter – it’s a learning platform now, complete with reading lists, bookmarks, a dictionary, and guided learning tracks. Our goal was to make a Wikipedia kind of experience: click around to follow your curiosity on whatever software you’re learning about. You can sign up on the Technically site ( You’re going to have to pay for it, but if your experience is anything like that of the other thousands of people who already have, you won’t regret it. Enjoy the soothing sounds of David's voice as he walks you through it in the video below. It’s hard to say goodbye completely to something you’ve been doing every week for 5 years. Any readers with their own long running newsletters will understand the odd, para-social relationship you develop with your audience. So I’m going to keep publishing on Substack a little – monthly roundups of the new stuff we’re publishing on Technically 2.0, plus some good sponsored posts. So while the newsletter might be dead, it is also only just beginning (or something). Hope to see you on the other side, ~ ❤️ Justin

The Rapid Growth of SpaceX, Starlink, Starshield & Armada: “I am very grateful that SpaceX is an American company.” "Data centers in space is coming, & it makes sense" “5 years ago they hadn’t even launched Starlink—now it’s in 150 countries & it’s continuing to grow every week.” “It’s an unfair advantage that we have with Starshield.” “If the world can get access to SpaceX, I think that’s a good thing.” Dan Wright (Dan Wright), CEO of Armada Elon (Elon Musk) builds long-term advantage, then unleashes it at massive scale: SpaceX, Starlink, Tesla, Neuralink, xAI.. . . . "We started the company working with SpaceX & they’ve continued to be a great partner for us. What that means is that as SpaceX rolls out throughout the world—& most people don’t know 5 years ago they hadn’t even launched Starlink —it’s in 150 countries & it’s continuing to grow every week. We are the first mover when it comes to the infrastructure, & that partnership works really well because we complement the connectivity with the infrastructure & the AI. We always are at the edge. It’s funny, I get messages from our team all the time & it’s like the most crazy places you can imagine. And the edge is gonna continue to get redefined. I get calls literally—I was on the call with somebody and they’re like, “Hey, can we get one of these in Antarctica?” I’m like, “Well yeah, Starlink’s live in Antarctica. No reason why we can’t do that.” Obviously data center in space is the new hotness. Everybody’s talking about it." "Yeah, what’s the deal with that—so are you gonna get these in space?" :They are modular. I mean the edge is continuing—this is actually a debate that we have in terms of how soon it’s going to happen—but it’s definitely going to happen. Data centers in space is coming, and it makes sense, right? If you think about what SpaceX is talking about with Starship going to the moon—you’re going to need compute, especially as you start to think about Optimus robots building bases on the moon, later Mars. You’re going to need large amounts of compute. Not to mention a lot of the things that we do here on Earth, you’re gonna want to do there in space. And it’s a lot more efficient to do it, especially in hostile environments, if you can automate more of that—things like mining, for example. And so you’re gonna see data centers in space, and I’m sure we’re definitely gonna be a part of it. "What do you think about SpaceX’s rumored IPO for 2026?" "I mean, I think SpaceX is an incredible company and they have a ton of value. So I don’t have any insider information here—but I would say, hey, if the world can get access to SpaceX, I think that’s a good thing. Starlink is really amazing in the sense that it just continues to get better so fast. They’re rolling out in new countries every week in major markets. Just as a real recent example, just this last week they launched in South Korea—big market and an important ally for the US, so that’s a big deal. They’re also expanding the types of services that are available. It started as a consumer product, then they brought it to enterprise. Initially that was used more as a backup, and now it’s being used more as a primary—and that is because the service keeps getting better and better as more satellites go up into the sky. Each generation of satellite is also better, not to mention the terminals on the ground. There’s now multiple types of terminals, including the more recent minis that people really like—“Hey, I can put it in a backpack if I go on a hike or if I’m traveling. I can put it on the ski rack of my car.” Perfect internet all the time. All that does for us is it gives us more use cases that we can unlock. Now that you have connectivity on the oil rig, or on a farm, or a ranch—wherever you are—we can apply the AI to those situations on the ground without latency, and then send the metadata back to some other location that they want it. Part of the full-stack approach. And also with Starshield—that’s a huge advantage when you think about some of the conflicts that are going on. People talk to me a lot about this race with China and the geopolitical conflicts around the world. I am very grateful that SpaceX is an American company. I feel like it’s an unfair advantage that we have with Starshield available to the DoD. We want to be the first mover with the infrastructure and the AI to help solve problems at the edge, and the work we’re doing with the Navy is a good example of that."
