I took the reference photo for this piece back in 2021. I’ve been working on this collection for 2 years and it’s taken me 4 years to finally put this reference photo to use. The Saddest Show on Earth exhibition has been in the planning stages for about a year and a half and all prints, products, and limited editions have taken me about 2 years to make (if you include painting the pieces in the first place). All this time, I haven’t released a single product or print and have made all of my original paintings available to reserve only until the exhibition. If I wasn’t so stubborn, I think I would have cracked by now and done a little print release or a little product launch 😅🤡 Anywho, over the years I’ve definitely become a bit of a ‘long game’ creative (and businesswoman) and hopefully it’ll all pay off in the end!

I've built a multiplayer survival game for the browser in 30 days and I didnt write a single line of code 🤯 So I'd like to write my notes about it once the deadline is done now. The last 20% of a project is indeed the hardest part of it all. In the last 2 days i've been working on the final version of Hollowlands for @levelsio's 2026 #vibejam I worked a lot! I fixed a lot of bugs, tested a lot playing with my wife. Fixed more bugs... But now, thank God, I have the final result! The game looks good, yes. I've spent half of the jam just tweaking every single detail of the procedural world generation. And It was worth it! The game still runs well on most devices and still has less than 20MB in size. Which is pretty impressive to me. The process of building was very straighforward: 1. I used Three.js + React to create the game. Before I started I created a huge document defining every rule i'd like the codebase to be implemented upon. It had clean code rules, archtecture decisions, ECS principles (good for games), and so on. This helped a lot constrain the AI to maintain the code maintainable and separated into clear domains (systems). This document was made partially by me given my previous experience building web games (I've made a lot of mistakes in the past and made sure they will not repeat again) and partially AI suggesting best practices. 2. For every feature I prompted the AI, I was very specific on details that I'd like implemented. If I knew what I was doing, I was more specific on the "how" I wanted to be done. If I didnt know what was doing I first asked the AI to brainstorm possibilities with me, based on industry standards, pros and cons, and so on. Then I would decide what path to go. 3. Every single feature I used Leva for tweaking the values. So for example, the size of the trees, colors, distance between objects, animation speed, etc. Everything I have a slider that I can adjust. 4. To make the game look good I used Tripo to create the models. To be honest it's not 100% perfect. If you check the character in game you can notice a few issues here and there (the arms lol), but I believe that it will keep getting better over time. 1 Year ago I tried and it wasnt even close to what it's now. Then I used a few post-processing + shaders + particles techniques to bring the "wow" factor. 5. I did only 1 feature at a time. And every change it was a commit with a clear message of what was done. This helped the AI fetch previous commit to understand what changed and know exactly what happened in the past. If I opened multiple terminals at once and blasted prompts the code and commit history would be a mess in a few days. And for every change the AI did, I asked it to do a Code Review of everything that was changed and look for violations on the document I wrote in the beggining defining the codebase guidelines. I realized that I pretty much applied software engineer principles using AI: Code, review and merge, code, review and merge... 6. On the last week I implemented the multiplayer using Colyseus ⚔️ which was pretty nice. I used AI to fetch the whole documentation and create a skill.md file that helped a lot. The creator of the framework Endel also did a extensive research on how real multiplayer games are implemented. It's open source and it was a gold mine for the AI to come up with the implementation for my game. You can ask him the link :) And that was it I think. I'm extremely tired now. The last 2 days was insane. The game's final version is not what I had in mind in the beginning of the jam. I had to cut a lot of cool features. But given the 30 days deadline I think it was a huge success. Hands down my best game ever made. Now I'll take a few days to rest and come back with more updates on the game. Maybe it can become a big deal in the future with more updates. Who knows. And in the event I win first place in this game jam, I'll use the money to fund my own game studio + cover the expenses of my child that is going to be born in September :) Cheers guys! OSTRICH FARM UPDATE - Counting, Transparency, Welfare and Due Process Response to CFIA Statement – October 22, 2025 We appreciate that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has chosen to communicate publicly about the ongoing situation at Universal Ostrich Farm. However, several points in their statement misrepresent the truth and must be respectfully corrected for the public record. You state that 330 Ostrich are out there that's your number, lets use that. WHY cant we get to that number with clear images from the mountains around? 1. Court Orders and Custody The Supreme Court of Canada’s stay of execution was meant to protect life and maintain the status quo while the Court considers our appeal not to enable indefinite seizure and isolation of our animals. The CFIA continues to restrict our access and oversight, despite these being our animals and our property. Custody requires care, transparency, and accountability not exclusion and secrecy. 2. Counting and Transparency We have repeatedly requested an updated count of our birds, and each request has been denied. We are the lawful owners, yet we have been told we cannot physically verify or count our own animals. Nor have a independent count by a vet This is unreasonable and deeply concerning. We simply wish to confirm their welfare. Furthermore, we have informed CFIA that our detailed manifest and lineage records will be provided only to our lawyer, who we trust to hold them securely. This decision was made after numerous breaches of trust by the agency. We must ask why does CFIA insist on obtaining the full genetic manifest of our flock? What use is this information to them while refusing transparency to us? 3. Samples and Intellectual Property Concerns CFIA’s ongoing presence, coupled with their refusal to allow independent oversight, raises legitimate concerns about unauthorized sample collection. We have no verification of what materials may have been taken since the occupation began. Given the value of ostrich antibodies proven in our past research to neutralize multiple viral strains, we have reason to fear these antibodies could be exploited for research or profit without our consent or acknowledgment. If CFIA has taken blood or tissue samples, we call for immediate disclosure of what was collected, where it was sent, and for what purpose. 4. Welfare and Care Oversight CFIA claims to provide feed, water, and bedding. Yet the family and ongoing local veterinarians have been barred from conducting welfare checks besides the one time. If CFIA truly has nothing to hide, why are they preventing independent welfare verification? The public deserves to know that these animals are being cared for humanely. We see they are not 5. Record Keeping and Accountability The CFIA states we have not provided flock records. That is false. Our affidavits, court filings, and veterinary documents have been provided under oath. The only reason additional data is withheld is the total loss of trust in an agency that has repeatedly acted outside the spirit of the law and without transparency. 6. Why This Matters If this policy continues unchecked, it sets a dangerous precedent: Farmers can lose their life’s work without due process or testing. Agencies can claim control of healthy animals while denying owners even basic oversight. Decades of biodiversity, genetic resilience, and natural immunity painstakingly cultivated can be wiped out overnight. When CFIA destroys healthy flocks under the guise of “biosecurity,” Canada loses more than animals we lose knowledge, immunity, and our agricultural future. 7. Our Call to Canadians We ask Canadians to stand with us peacefully and respectfully: Email your MP, MLA, and the Minister of Agriculture demanding an inquiry into CFIA’s conduct. Request transparent, science-based testing before any depopulation or seizure. Demand independent animal-welfare oversight whenever the CFIA exercises custody. Support biodiversity and generational farming the foundation of real food security and scientific innovation We remain calm, peaceful, and steadfast in truth. This is not just about ostriches it’s about trust in the institutions meant to serve Canadians. No agency should operate with absolute power and zero accountability. Destiny 2 left a permanent mark on my life. The memories I’ve made with this game, both as a player and as someone lucky enough to work on it, will forever stay with me. Not just because of late nights running King’s Fall with friends, or grinding out the Crucible Glorious Seal in solo queue like a complete maniac, but because Destiny 2 challenged me, shaped me, and pushed me toward becoming the creative I am today. My journey into digital art and photography started back in 2007, when I began taking screenshots in Halo 3 and entering Bungie community art contests. The relationships I built during that time eventually opened the door to an opportunity with Bungie’s Gameplay Capture team in 2014, helping the team capture footage for a new game called Destiny. I had no idea then that a commendably short two-week contract would turn into an incredible 12-year journey with this franchise. I originally came to Bungie hoping to pursue environmental concept art, but along the way I had the opportunity to work on marketing art and quickly fell in love with it. Creating marketing art for a franchise like Destiny challenged me in so many different ways. It forced me to expand my technical, creative, and communication skill sets, constantly adapt, and keep learning new tools and workflows just to keep pace with the live-service beast that was Destiny 2. It means a lot to be able to look back and say with confidence that I had a visual impact on Destiny 2; but the most meaningful part of it all was getting to work alongside and learn from so many incredible artists at Bungie, and seeing firsthand just how much care, effort, and humanity it takes to make work like this possible. It’s hard to fully capture how much energy, skill, and collaboration goes into every visual part of a game like Destiny 2. That work is shaped by artists from different backgrounds, experiences, disciplines, and perspectives. Each of them, including me, left a small part of themselves in what they created. To me, that’s what makes a game like Destiny 2 feel truly meaningful and memorable. Especially now, in a world increasingly saturated with content and driven by instant output and gratification through AI, I keep coming back to the value of process. For me, and for so many of my peers, it was never only about arriving at the final image. It was about the journey it took to get there. The late nights. The iteration. The problem-solving. The trust. The shared pursuit of trying to make something special. To my peers, I’m deeply proud of what we built together, but even more grateful for how we built it. We challenged each other, inspired each other, and kept showing up for one another through every high and low, as Destiny 2 has had many. That kind of shared effort leaves a lasting mark. What we made mattered. What we gave mattered. And the impact of what we built together will stay with us, and this community, for a long time. Shoutout to the current and former members of Creative Studios, the VizD team, and the many Bungie developers and marketers who helped shape this chapter of my life. I’m especially grateful to the teammates who believed in me, encouraged me to embrace failure and new beginnings as essential parts of artistic growth, and pushed me to take on challenges even when they felt beyond my reach. You showed me that the strength of a team will always surpass that of any individual hero. As my work on #Destiny2 comes to a close and I look toward the future, I plan to spend the next few weeks sharing some of the pieces I had the chance to create or art direct that mean the most to me. I originally came to Bungie hoping to pursue environmental concept art, but along the way I had the opportunity to work on marketing art and quickly fell in love with it. Creating marketing art for a franchise like Destiny challenged me in so many different ways. It forced me to expand my technical, creative, and communication skill sets, constantly adapt, and keep learning new tools and workflows just to keep pace with the live-service beast that was Destiny 2. It means a lot to be able to look back and say with confidence that I had a visual impact on Destiny 2; but the most meaningful part of it all was getting to work alongside and learn from so many incredible artists at Bungie, and seeing firsthand just how much care, effort, and humanity it takes to make work like this possible. It’s hard to fully capture how much energy, skill, and collaboration goes into every visual part of a game like Destiny 2. That work is shaped by artists from different backgrounds, experiences, disciplines, and perspectives. Each of them, including me, left a small part of themselves in what they created. To me, that’s what makes a game like Destiny 2 feel truly meaningful and memorable. Especially now, in a world increasingly saturated with content and driven by instant output and gratification through AI, I keep coming back to the value of process. For me, and for so many of my peers, it was never only about arriving at the final image. It was about the journey it took to get there. The late nights. The iteration. The problem-solving. The trust. The shared pursuit of trying to make something special. To my peers, I’m deeply proud of what we built together, but even more grateful for how we built it. We challenged each other, inspired each other, and kept showing up for one another through every high and low, as Destiny 2 has had many. That kind of shared effort leaves a lasting mark. What we made mattered. What we gave mattered. And the impact of what we built together will stay with us, and this community, for a long time. Shoutout to the current and former members of Creative Studios, the VizD team, and the many Bungie developers and marketers who helped shape this chapter of my life. I’m especially grateful to the teammates who believed in me, encouraged me to embrace failure and new beginnings as essential parts of artistic growth, and pushed me to take on challenges even when they felt beyond my reach. You showed me that the strength of a team will always surpass that of any individual hero. As my work on #Destiny2 comes to a close and I look toward the future, I plan to spend the next few weeks sharing some of the pieces I had the chance to create or art direct that mean the most to me. For now, I’ll leave you all with a collage of some of my personal favorite pieces to work on across Destiny 2’s lifetime. These projects mean so much to me because many of them started as personal passion projects or late-night concept sketches, inspired by playing early builds of Destiny 2 and by the incredible work of our development team.

PLEASE, do not believe this false narrative. It's simply untrue. Here's some evidence. Here's a Blue, Pack-a-Punch 1 FFAR (one of the worst ARs in the game) on Rounds 22, 23, and 27. - No Drops (Insta-Kills, Double Points, Nukes) - No Double Tap - No Deadshot - Jugg is Turtle Shell Stats: Round 22: +7,350 Points - No ammo bought Round 23: +7,880 Points - No ammo bought (using just Napalm Burst and a few shots for bugs) Round 27: +8,080 Points - Ammo bought ONCE This narrative that "guns can't kill anything past round_____" is blatantly hyperbolic and scientifically false. (Especially with the latest Napalm Burst fix) Not to mention Ammo Mods: - Dead Wire will stun enemies and take Zombies down to only 40% of their health, and it'll pop off their armor. - Napalm Burst will obviously destroy hordes - Cryo Freeze will give a 50% increase in damage - Brian Rot will kill zombies for you Or all the kill streaks, field upgrades, and equipment that you could use to gain more points. (Like combat axes killing indefinitely at any round) Or even the abundantly available free Pack-A-Punch quests, free Aether Tool quests, Free Points/Salvage quests, etc. To put this even more into perspective: If someone is going down constantly with Jugg from Rounds 10-30, here's the breakdown With Tier 1 Armor: -Jugg by itself is a 9 hit to down. -Probiotic is 11 hits to down. -Hardened plates is 13 hits to down. -Probiotic AND Hardened plates is 15 hits to down. AI and robots will increase economic output by orders of magnitude. The only thing that stops it is a world war. Absent that, 10x in 10 years. 4. Human intelligence will become a microscopic minority. Not just on Earth but in the solar system. The intelligence that could run on available solar energy is so far beyond current human capacity that Musk says it will simply solve every problem humans can think of. 5. Output per person will become almost unbelievable. Tesla is not planning layoffs. They are growing their headcount. But what each person produces with AI assistance will reach numbers that are currently hard to even imagine. 6. Universal high income is coming, not universal basic income. AI and robots will produce so many goods and services so fast that they will outrun the money supply entirely. Prices fall. Everything gets cheaper.
