The Charles River is as beautiful and calming as ever. The meeting is a two-day event of heavy hitters in global academia, Nobel Laureates, and senior policymakers. I’ll be breaking some tables on this vexed matter of the “international” development of poor countries in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and South Asia😀 No one in the rich, developed world owes anyone in under-developed countries “development”. A 15-year-old Southwestern Academy junior in Flint, Michigan was just charged for her actions in this video, where she throws a chair at her teacher after getting into an argument with another student. Flint Community Schools released a statement saying that the teacher in the video is doing well and has been released from the hospital. What do you think are the underlying causes of kids reacting in this manner to authority? What can we do better as a society to try and prevent this sort of behavior? Is it a lack of parenting? I’m now receiving calls from their parents who are frightened to learn that Hamas supporters are being allowed to camp out in Harvard Yard - in brazen defiance to the university’s explicit guidelines - and are chanting in support of terrorism and call for the murder of Jews. The last two nights at the Harvard Chabad Seder table, along with Jews around the world, we read the words of the Passover Haggadah how “in each and every generation they rise up against us to destroy us. And the Holy One, blessed be He, rescues us from their hands.” That those who seek the destruction of the Jewish people are receiving support from Harvard students and other university students around the country - as we heard today from Hamas, should shake every moral person to their core. Arshid Ashrith, a 21-year-old third-year MBBS student from Telangana, died in a road accident in Can Tho City, Vietnam, on Wednesday morning. Ashrith, son of cloth merchants from Kagaznagar, was riding a bike with a friend when he lost control and crashed into a house wall. He died on the spot, while his friend sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment. The sudden news of his death has left his family and local community in shock and mourning. This has got to be one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen coming from Harvard. More than 30 Harvard University student organizations are holding Israel “entirely responsible” for the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel: Joint Statement by Harvard Palestine Solidarity Groups on the Situation in Palestine "We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence. Today's events did not occur in a vacuum. For the last two decades, millions of Palestinians in Gaza have been forced to live in an open-air prison. Israeli officials promise to "open the gates of hell," and the massacres in Gaza have already commenced. Palestinians in Gaza have no shelters for refuge and nowhere to escape. In the coming days, Palestinians will be forced to bear the full brunt of Israel's violence. The apartheid regime is the only one to blame. Israeli violence has structured every aspect of Palestinian existence for 75 years. From systematized land seizures to routine airstrikes, arbitrary detentions to military checkpoints, and enforced family separations to targeted killings, Palestinians have been forced to live in a state of death, both slow and sudden. Today, the Palestinian ordeal enters into uncharted territory. The coming days will require a firm stand against colonial retaliation. Tragedy struck Islamic Senior High School at Abrepo in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, when a Form Three student, identified only as Abass, fell to his d£ath from the top floor of the school’s administration block. The incident occurred in broad daylight during school hours, leaving students and staff deeply shocked as many rushed to the scene. Reports indicate that prior to the incident, Abass, a Business student who was serving as Boys’ Prefect, had allegedly been caught in an inappropriate situation with a female student by a teacher. The matter was reported to the school authorities, who subsequently summoned Abass’s mother for a disciplinary meeting to discuss the issue and determine appropriate consequences. According to persons close to the family, including his mother and uncle, as well as some students, Abass became deeply distressed after learning that his mother had been called to the school and even informed her of his intention to hàrm himself. Those who knew him revealed that he had been struggling emotionally for some time and had previously made statements about taking his own lïfe. Tragically, his family members and peers reportedly did not take these warnings seriously, assuming he was not serious. School authorities confirmed they had no prior knowledge or indication of his su!c!dal intentions. The bòdy of the deceased has since been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic tradition.

He was a government employee and union leader when he violently attacked a 71-Year-Old man, taking him down with a sleuth foot, in front of the Ottawa Carleton District School board office. Ottawa Police did nothing. Latour has also been involved in at least one other violent encounter in Ottawa that I know of.
