A small part of it. But what really happened was Conservatives (our historical equivalent of Republicans) made such a mess of things for two terms (8 years), that people voted for Labour because they thought it was the lesser of two evils. Due to the first past the post voting system, Labour won with 63% of votes and just 33% of total population voting for them. Turns out Labour weren't the lesser of the two evils, and now we're on a slow March towards a Marxist, socialist, totalitarian state.

Apparently. The UK needs a Declaration of Independence… from the UK. 🤔
