He Bought Two Beers and Accidentally Won 2 Billion Winning once can make gambling look smarter than it really is. That’s the dangerous part. You see someone spend a tiny amount and suddenly walk away with life-changing money, and your brain immediately starts thinking, “What if that was me?”... But that’s exactly how people get pulled in. The winner gets remembered. The thousands of people who kept spending, kept chasing, and kept losing rarely become part of the story. Yes, gambling can pay off sometimes. That’s what makes it exciting in the first place. But excitement is not the same thing as sustainability. You can’t build a stable life around something that depends mostly on chance. A jackpot can change your situation overnight, but constantly chasing one can destroy your finances just as quickly. Enjoy luck when it shows up. Just don’t confuse a lucky moment with a reliable plan. lobistars🇳🇬show more

Steve Jobs on why everything around you was made by people no smarter than you: "When you grow up, you tend to get told that the world is the way it is and your life is just to live your life inside the world. Try not to bash into the walls too much, have a nice family life, have fun, save a little money. But that's a very limited life." Steve believed most people live with a fundamental misconception. As he puts it: "Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact. And that is—everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you." He continues: "And you can change it. You can influence it. You can build your own things that other people can use. And the minute that you understand that you can poke life and actually something will pop out the other side—that you can change it, you can mold it." On what matters most: "Maybe the most important thing is to shake off this erroneous notion that life is there and you're just going to live in it versus embrace it, change it, improve it, make your mark upon it. I think that's very important." His perspective on why you should change things: "However you learn that, once you learn it, you'll want to change life and make it better because it's kind of messed up in a lot of ways." The shift: "Once you learn that, you'll never be the same again."

Jim Simons's five principles (RIP): “Be guided by beauty. Just as a great theorem can be very beautiful, a company that’s really working very well, very efficiently, that can be beautiful. Surround yourself with the smartest and best people you possibly can. Let them do their thing. Don’t sit on top of them. If they’re smarter than you, all the better. Do something original. Don’t run with the pack. If everyone is trying to solve the same problem ... don’t do that. Don’t give up easily. Stick with it. Stick with it not forever, but really give it a chance to get where you’re going. The final principle is hope for good luck. That’s the most important principle"

Most people think a productive morning has to be intense. It doesn’t. Sometimes the smartest thing you can do for your body is spend a few quiet minutes moving through your full range of motion instead of immediately asking it to perform. That’s what makes simple mobility work so underrated. It can become a reset button not just for stiffness, but for how you approach the rest of the day. And there’s a bigger lesson here: the best routine isn’t necessarily the hardest one. It’s the one you can keep doing long enough for it to become part of your life. Nine minutes sounds small. Done consistently, small can become powerful.

Marriage is not just another stage of life—it is a commitment that can change your future and the legacy of generations to come. When you choose to hurt your spouse or be unfaithful, it shows that you do not fully understand the responsibility you have taken on. The choices you make today can destroy not only your own life but also your family and the generations that come after you. Protect your marriage. Stay faithful. Build a legacy, not regrets.

my new song “BREAKDOWN.” is out on the 21st of June!!! 🖤🖤🖤 I wrote this poem because it’s been the hardest year for my mental health. In my life I’ve always never felt good enough, it’s just the thing that’s eaten me up. For as long as I can remember i have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to fight the darkness that i inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to deal with it. To put it plainly the things I don’t like about myself will probably never change, people tell me one day I’ll come-to terms with them one day but I want that day to be FUCKING NOW. This song is a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and the world is so much bigger than me. Try and get out of your head and notice the world around you, notice the things and people around you. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. If you think you can’t do it, you can. You can get through this, trust me. Use this poem in a mornin to get u out of bed, use it when youre about to back out of something last minute, use it when you’re at your darkest. It’s got a little bit of light in it. Don’t forget to put your feet in the grass … Mind

Sometimes, the hardest part of meeting someone is simply starting the conversation. When a woman takes the first step and approaches someone she likes at the gym, it can be a refreshing reminder that confidence and connection can come from anyone. A genuine conversation can turn an ordinary moment into something memorable. The gym is often seen as a place focused on goals, but it can also be a place where people build friendships and relationships. A little courage can create unexpected opportunities. How would you react if your gym crush came over and started talking to you first?

Tony Robbins explains why two people can live the same moment but experience completely different lives “We don’t experience life, we experience the part of life we focus on. The minute you focus on something, your brain has to decide what it means, and meaning is what creates emotion. And emotion is where your life is. That’s why the quality of your life is the quality of your emotions. If you got $1 billion and every day you’re pissed off and angry, your life’s quality is that” “Then there’s a third decision, which is what you’re going to do. Because if something happens and you say this person is dissing you, you’ll feel angry and make one decision. But if you think they’re coaching you or loving you, you’ll feel different and act differently. Those three decisions, what you focus on, what it means, and what you do, control your life”

Drama ads aren’t just for women. That might be one of the dumbest assumptions in advertising right now. Men will watch drama. You just have to give them a reason to care. And one of the easiest ways to get a man emotionally invested is to put him in a situation that hits his ego. He feels himself getting weaker. His hair is disappearing. He can’t keep up with the younger guys anymore. His wife doesn’t look at him the same way. He’s embarrassed by something he would never admit out loud. That’s your hook. But the mistake is revealing the product immediately. Let the story breathe. Let the insecurity build. Let the viewer wonder what happens next. Then, at the end, reveal the bigger picture. Because the story was never really about the product. It was about confidence. Identity. His relationship. Getting older. Feeling like himself again. That’s what makes drama so powerful. Almost any product can become a prop inside a story that actually means something. The product is the mechanism. The story is the reason to watch. And this is where watch time becomes a massive creative advantage. If you can get someone to watch 30, 45, 60+ seconds instead of 2 seconds, you’re creating dramatically more opportunity for Meta to learn who is actually responding to your creative. More watch time. More engagement. More shares. More signals. And potentially more efficient acquisition as the system finds people who respond to that type of content. That’s the part people miss. The goal isn’t just to make an ad people click. The goal is to make an ad people watch, finish, and send to someone else. Because when the story earns the attention, you get something traditional UGC rarely gives you: Time. And time is one of the most valuable things you can get in advertising. You just can’t directly buy it… People can just swipe right past your ad… You have to convince the customer to give it to you.

Jensen Huang: I don’t need to change the world overnight “Having a simple idea that you can execute perfectly is sometimes better than having a grandiose idea that your company can’t execute on.” Jensen reflects on how he’s constantly bombarded with ideas and feature requests from customers and engineers at Nvidia. But he believes it’s prudent to keep things simple. As he puts it: “I don’t need to change the world overnight; I’m going to change the world over the next 50 years. I don’t need to build a killer product overnight; I just need to build a winning product. And the goal of winning is so that you can play again. It’s just like pinball… Most companies need to realize that it is a long road and you can’t build that perfect product [overnight].” He continues: “Once you do that and keep the project’s scope confined — you have a long-term vision but your product definition is rather simple — your people can now execute flawlessly on a simple plan. Then you come back and do it again.” Source: Stanford University (Jan 2003)

Pete Carroll says winning championships was never actually the point “It isn’t about winning the championship. It’s not about that. As soon as you win it, it’s over with. It’s in your back pocket. You’ve already done that.” “That’s not the motivator. The motivator is to be the best you can possibly be. That’s ongoing. It never ends. I’m not a big goals guy.” “Goals, you achieve them. To me, I want ongoing, never-ending aspirations of being great at what you’re doing. There is no one game that is the only game. There is no one accomplishment that’s the only accomplishment.” “Can you come back again? Is that really who you are? Is that worth fighting for?” “Can you be true to yourself? Can you really be yourself under all circumstances? No matter what happens, when you get your ass whipped in the freaking Super Bowl, when you had two in a row and you’re two seconds from doing it again, can you come back after that moment and still be who you are?” “That was what the challenge was to me. As hard as that looked, as hard as it felt, and as hard as it was on all the people around me, I took it like this: ‘Okay, you knew this was going to happen sometime.’ ‘Are you going to be the real deal or not?’”

jordan peterson on why people actually fall apart: 1. as a psychologist, you learn something almost nobody expects. people don't come to you with a mental illness. they come to you because their life got too complicated to stay on top of. 2. complexity is the real problem. when it slips beyond your control, it causes suffering. and that suffering is what breaks people. 3. it's almost never one thing. it's three or four hitting at once. you lose your job. the economy collapses. someone you love dies. then you get sick. and you look around and think there's no getting out of this. 4. picture a balloon. blow it up past what it can hold and it bursts at the weakest spot. people are the same. keep piling complexity onto someone and they blow out wherever they're weakest. one starts drinking. another gets depressed. another gets anxiety or ocd. that's the "mental illness." but it's really just collapse in the direction of your weakness. 5. and sometimes it goes further. life gets so complex that people would rather be dead. that's what a lot of suicide actually is. not wanting to die. wanting the complexity to stop.

McGeehan: The first thing to understand is that World Cups are a scam, right? They’re a complete scam because the U.S. pays for everything, and FIFA walks away with all the profits. Now, Donald Trump probably knows it’s a scam. And if we know anything about Donald Trump, it’s that he doesn’t like getting scammed. I mean, this is the man who talks about The Art of the Deal. So, one theory—or one part of it—could just be this: Trump is basically saying, “Okay, you can come in here, you can waltz off with all the money, and you can put us on the hook for all the costs, but I’m going to get my part of this.” So that’s one theory. There are other people who think that Trump was involved in Gianni Infantino’s machinations when he became president back in 2016. I can’t speak to that, but certainly there’s a lot of money involved and a lot of money changing hands, and FIFA is walking away with a lot of it.

Imagine checking your bank account one morning and seeing $1.1 million sitting there that you know you didn’t earn. That’s exactly what happened to one man after a bank mistakenly deposited the money into his account. Instead of reporting the error, he started spending it and transferring chunks of it elsewhere. It didn’t take long for the bank to realize the mistake, and soon he was in court. The judge gave him a simple choice: return the money or spend one year in prison. Surprisingly, he chose prison. Here’s the question: If a bank accidentally dropped that kind of money into your account, what would you do? Mistakes happen in banking, but once you know the money isn’t yours, spending it can quickly turn a lucky moment into a legal nightmare. One year behind bars is a steep price for money that was never yours to begin with. 💰⚖️:

This is the kind of story that makes you rethink what “having nothing” really means. Sometimes you don’t meet someone who simply joins your journey you meet someone whose belief in you gives you the courage to build the road. 23 years, four children, a life built from scratch, and a man who now has no hesitation putting his properties in his wife’s name. That isn’t just romance; that’s trust with receipts. The lesson isn’t men should do this or “women should do that.” It’s much simpler: when two people genuinely believe in each other, protect that partnership, and put in the work, they can become each other’s greatest investment. But there’s another lesson hiding in plain sight: choose carefully. Not everyone who enters your life is meant to become part of your foundation. Sometimes the greatest luxury isn’t money, property, or status. It’s finding someone who remembers who you were before the success and still chooses you after it.

Geno Auriemma explains how winning all the time can be more dangerous than losing: “The only thing worse than losing is winning all the time. Now you've never experienced that. But I have.” “You get into this mindset that you’re being defined by how much you win. You become associated with winning." "Then losing becomes a personal affront to who you are. You have to be really careful with that. Winning didn’t define you. But you allowed it to define you because that’s what society does.” “In order to continue winning, you have to separate yourself and look at the reasons why you’re winning. Most of them do not include you. You’re part of the winning.” “But the minute you start thinking you’re the biggest reason why you’re winning, that’s when you get drunk on your own success.”

Travel has a funny way of showing you your real baseline. I was away, crossed time zones, took long flights, stayed busy, ate well, met people, kept moving - and then came back and crashed. That is real life. You can have the best routine at home, but the real test is what happens when the rhythm breaks. Can you sleep when your schedule is off? Can you move after days of travel? Can you enjoy food without guilt? Can you come back and reset without making it dramatic? For me, that is where longevity becomes practical. It is not about being perfect every day. It is about paying your dues, listening to your body, and getting back to rhythm. Travel disrupts you. Recovery teaches you where you really are. What is the first thing that breaks in your routine when you travel?

Jordan Peterson: "If you can't fix your room, you can't fix your life" "Why should you even bother improving yourself? The answer is something like: so you don't suffer anymore stupidly than you have to. And maybe so others don't have to either. It's not some casual self-help doctrine. If you don't organize yourself properly, you'll pay for it. In a big way. And so will the people around you." Peterson continues: "You can say, 'Well, I don't care about that.' But that's actually not true, you do care about it. Because if you're in pain, you will care about it. It's very rare that you can find someone in excruciating pain who would say, 'Well, it would be no better if I was out of this.' Pain brings the idea that it would be better if it didn't exist along with it. It's incontrovertible." On how to start: "Look around for something that bothers you and see if you can fix it. You can do this in a room. Sit in your bedroom and think: 'If I wanted to spend ten minutes making this room better, what would I have to do?' You have to ask yourself that, it's a genuine question. And things will pop out. There's a stack of papers bugging you. Some rubbish behind your computer monitor you haven't attended to for six months. Cables tangled up." He explains why this matters: "If you were coming to see me for psychotherapy, the easiest thing would be to get you to organize your room. You think, is that psychotherapy? It depends on how you conceive the limits of your being. Start where you can start. If something announces itself as in need of repair that you could repair, fix it. Fix a hundred things like that, your life will be a lot different." On fixing what you repeat every day: "People tend to think of their daily routines as trivial. You get up, brush your teeth, have breakfast. Those probably constitute 50% of your life. People think, they're mundane, I don't need to pay attention to them. No, that's exactly wrong. The things you do every day are the most important things you do. Hands down. Just do the arithmetic." On staying within your competence: "Sometimes you don't know how to fix something. Imagine you're walking down the street and there's a guy who's alcoholic and schizophrenic and has been homeless for ten years. That's a problem. It would be good if you could fix it, but you haven't got a clue. You walk around that and go find something you could fix. Just because something announces itself as in need of repair doesn't mean it's you, right then and there, who should repair it. You have to have some humility. You don't walk up to a helicopter that isn't working and just start tinkering away." Peterson shares the key insight: "As soon as you give your mind a genuine aim, it'll reconfigure the world in keeping with that aim. That's actually how you see to begin with. You've all seen the video where you watch basketballs being tossed back and forth, and while you're doing that, a gorilla walks into the middle of the video and you don't see it. If you thought about that experiment for five years, that would be about the right amount of time to spend thinking about it." He explains what it reveals: "What it shows you is that you see what you aim at. If you can get one thing through your head, that would be a good one. You see what you aim at. One inference you might draw from that is: be careful what you aim at. What you aim at determines the way the world manifests itself to you. So if the world is manifesting itself in a very negative way, one thing to ask is: are you aiming at the right thing?"

🚨 KHABIB TALKS ABOUT HOW MONEY NEVER CHANGED HIM: “I BELIEVE MOST PEOPLE WITH MONEY WILL BE IN HELL” 💔 🗣️ wealth can become dangerous when it takes over your heart. “If you use wealth for the right purposes — helping people in need, your family, relatives, friends and people from your hometown — that’s a good thing. But as soon as wealth gets into your heart, it becomes very difficult to share it with others. That’s a very dangerous place for a person to end up. As a believer, I believe most people in Hell will be wealthy.” 🎙️ Via {Lex Fridman}. 🔹

The Man City vs QPR match is one of football’s greatest reminders that life is never over until it is over. City were minutes away from losing the title, the stadium was silent, hope was fading and everything looked finished. But in the chaos, two moments of courage changed everything. In seconds, what looked impossible became history. That match teaches a powerful truth that your story can change in one moment of persistence. You can be down, discouraged, outnumbered or misunderstood but if you keep pushing, life can still surprise you. Nothing is permanent, not even struggle. In this chase called life, results don’t always favor the strongest but they favor those who refuse to stop believing. You don’t need a perfect day but just one opening, one chance & one breakthrough. So no matter how tough things look right now, remember Man City vs QPR: keep fighting, keep trying, keep moving. Your own “Aguero moment” can happen when you least expect it.👏
