How dare a government listen to its people, that’s unheard of in this country.

citizens having a voice is anathema to the NDP. You will have no voice, you will do as you're told.

You mean this Heather? What an out of touch socialist buffon.

Her policy was to keep them voiceless. You know, for "democracy."

Gasp! Not a voice! That's just wrong! What happened to democracy? We can't have Albertans having a voice!

Then vote against it. Since you live in Alberta vs telling the people of Alberta that they have no right to have a voice. Canadians are not peasants, but Ottawa thinks that are and everyone like Heather thinks they are

Yes Alberta has always had people that do not trust the Liberals, are they true separatists=NO Trudeau Sr =NEP Trudeau Jr = NO pipeline bill Maybe if @liberal_party showed some respect for Alberta in last 10 years we would not be in this crisis All talk, no substance

So much for "freedom of the people" in Canada. if you differ with the established socialist: you're the enemy of the people to them.

McPherson thinks that democracy is only for certain people. Don't anybody say anything that she doesn't want to hear. A good canadiatefor putin

How do extremists like McPherson even get elected? That’s actually terrifying and says a lot about her voters who live amongst us.

If only that the only voice we get to hear is yours. You’ve drummed this nonsense into Canadians minds forever. Unfortunately some of us need a little more of your indoctrination. Maybe you can figure out some new cruel and sadistic way to convince us.

Let the people have a choice is such a big problem for the NDP

Heather McPherson is an Alberta MP. She could have spent her time in parliament advocating for the needed structural changes which would have precluded separation. Instead, she spent her time supporting Trudeau as his government hobbled Alberta, (and supporting Hamas).

Option 2 to encourage an actual discussion with Ottawa. What both father and son Trudeau did wasn’t just bad for Alberta it hurt the entire country. Let’s hope for a change so it doesn’t happen again

It is called democracy. Alberta should be the easiest province to appease, they have billions of dollars of wealth under their feet.

And? Isn’t she just doing her job as a public servant to her people? If that is what they want and they have the numbers agree upon the law, she has to do it. Isn’t this what authoritarian regimes do: shut down democracy if they don’t like it?

Albertans decided this, not Daniel. Ottawa policies created the situation.

It's called democracy. Quebec can do it and you dont piss yourself Bout that do ya? Giving people a voice is never a bad thing. Only fascists want to shut down debate or other people's opinions no matter how bad they are. Learn som history you freaks

Whoa Whoa Whoa. First the loud minority of #Alberta separatists have always had a voice on the floor of the PC Wildrose, and UCP convention because Preston Manning's Reform party emboldened these mouth breathers to speak up. Second exposing #MapleMAGA is a good thing.
