The dark areas adjacent to Sullivan Canyon are without power - so there are actually homes there. Have your helicopter enable their street maps for that area. Those homes are at the top of Westridge…they are close to those fires in Sullivan.

Broward County deputies’ response to a beach disturbance has the community asking questions over officers’ conduct Bodycam video released from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office shows deputies responding to a disturbance on the beach involving a male and female suspect in 2025. During the call, officers encountered another couple attempting to sleep on the sand while drinking alcohol, leading to them being thrown off the beach and cursed at as well. Many in the community are now questioning the deputies’ conduct towards the suspects and others.
