Rex was found living on his own in the hills outside Chico, California after the wildfires tore through that area in the fall of 2022. He came into an Animal Rescue badly underweight, with scars across his back, and so frightened that volunteers could barely get close. For almost two years he lived in the shelter, improving slowly but still flinching at sudden movements. The Chen family had been searching for their Australian Shepherd since the evacuation. Their ten-year-old son, Liam, never stopped believing they'd find him. He carried Rex's old stuffed duck toy in his backpack every single day. When the family finally got a match through a lost pet database and came to the shelter, Rex backed straight into the corner. Liam sat down on the floor without rushing and pulled that worn, faded duck out of his bag. Rex's whole body changed. His ears came up. His nose started working. He crept forward one step at a time until he was close enough to sniff the toy - and then he was on top of Liam, covering his face with kisses while Liam laughed and cried at the same time. Liam's mom said: "Rex didn't remember our faces. But he remembered that duck." Sometimes the way home isn't a road. Sometimes it's a smell, a shape, a thread of memory that never fully broke.

[Throwback] Kobayashi Arata,a professional dancer, give detailed abt taehyung’s dance abilities on Fire and Dynamite 👤Whenever I see Taetae dance, I got the impression that he is a groove-type dancer. He has good detail and dances like he is riding the music. I like dances that convey the dancer's own vibe that only they have, and Taetae's dance is like that. His neck's trajectory is continuously moving back and forth. It's a professional's technique. His dance is very professional. It's very difficult to grab the rhythm in a simple way, but Taetae has a very good sense for that. Even when he isn't moving, the texture of his dance movements are very exquisite.The way he dances to his heart's content is wonderfully cool. The way he feels the sound (music) is expressed through the movement of his neck. The way he burns his feelings into the music is at a very professional level. One more thing to mention, the way he approaches a certain melody is always very outstanding and beautiful. You can see his great sense for dancing in his ad-libs, besides the set choreography. The neck is the part of the body that can express rhythm, so it especially requires skill. Taetae uses his neck extremely well. People at a high level of dancing can draw a hot response from just moving their neck a little. A great dancer knows that just a simple neck movement can look really cool. 1 speculate that Taetae is a dancer who knows this. The way he paces himself is no joke. The reason he can comfortably maintain the rhythm with his whole body is because he properly feels the music inside his body His dance has a mature charm. It's something different than the brilliance and dynamism that can be seen from the outside. From an angle that surpasses all that, he expresses how he perceives the beauty of the dance. He is the type that enthralls others by actually enjoying the music himself. He is like a miso soup made by a first-class chef. It doesn't make sense how smooth he is. (All of his movements are very smooth.) People, who enjoy music itself in the first place, look cool with the way they ride the rhythm. He dances as if he has surrendered himself to the sound (music), and as if he is submerged in the music. He is able to feel the rhythm with his whole body. Taetae's hidden details, in which he accomplishes things like they're nothing, make my heart beat. It's a difficult thing to do. You can't do this just by learning it. He has a good sense for dancing. The way he dances is very smart. In conclusion, Taetae is at an extremely high level of dance. From the little details that are hard to catch at first glance, to his dance skills that read the music, making it feel like a "professional dance" style and feel, can all be seen in the ad-libs as well. These parts all depend on the individual's sense for dance. ➡️ The ZANU fighter was just defeated by a 60-year old guy. 😌 This guy, Themba Gorimbo, had the support of most Zimbabweans when he entered the UFC, because – what a great achievement and representation for our country! 👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾 🇿🇼 Then, he made the quintessential error that many shallow Zimbabweans who find fame MAKE – he involved himself in regime politics ... because he saw it as a way to make a quick fortune. 💰💰 He started to ride high on ARROGANCE, and use his platform to insult and mock the opposition movement while promoting ED and ZANU PF regularly. He is especially known for stalking Winky D, and posting negative comments and mockeries about him, in order to please his ZANU masters. He thought that if he placed himself on the buttered side 🧈🍞 – the OPPRESSOR’S side - then he would be on the fast track to wealth, freebies and trinkets. 💵 Amateur mistake. When you’re a professional athlete there is no upside to playing politics. 🤷🏾‍♂️ You’ll just alienate many supporters unnecessarily, and attract controversy. You also draw negative attention to yourself internationally. MMA is a global sport and UFC is the pinnacle of the sport. So then he started losing supporters and attracting criticism ... but continued on his arrogant high horse, believing that his commitment to ZANU would pay off. Then when was CHOKED OUT in his last fight and lost consciousness in front of the entire world 😴- he thereafter had a "Damascus moment" when he realized that HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of UFC fans around the world were joyous about his humiliation! 😃 Especially when at one point he enjoyed widespread support and a growing fanbase - even the Rock had given him a house in the early days ... before Gorimbo showed himself to be an arrogant, toxic chump. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Then after being choked out he tried to “CHANGE” and win people over again, and started becoming anti-Zanu, etc. And it has worked for some people, but for a lot of OTHER people, including me (who was initially a HUGE fan), the damage had been done... 🙅🏾‍♂️ I always support Zimbabwean athletes and teams PASSIONATELY 🇿🇼 – but this guy has shown his true colours, and I find him to be unsavoury... He’s someone who tried to use his platform to benefit from the REGIME. He supported OPPRESSION and mocked the suffering of Zimbabweans, and efforts of the opposition. He is NOT a good guy. 😏 He is only now pretending to be in support of the PEOPLE because he has seen how supporting dictators will negatively affect his MMA career. It actually may be too late for him to redeem himself because even on the MMA twitterverse, I see a LOT of people from around the world posting negatively about his arrogance. They are also calling him a SCAMMER because of the library he had said he was building “in his village” and apparently people donated money, but there is ZERO library in existence 🤔- and when he has been pressed to explain he has been saying to critics that he built ¾ of the library and then he had to tear it down for some reason... 👀 I will always view him as a “ZANU fighter” because that’s what he proudly was for a long time, and has now realized his miscalculation ... and trying to pretend to be otherwise. what im about to say is just MY vision! this is how i see it i feel like the car in the mv represents heeseung himself and everything he has gone through over the years. in the mv, when he first got the car, it’s bright red. red symbolizes his passion, excitement, and happiness as he finally achieves the dream he had worked toward for so long. he has debuted, he is standing on stage and he is doing what he always wanted to do as the story progresses, the car becomes almost completely gray. i see this as a reflection of heeseung’s burnout and emotional exhaustion. the feeling of becoming drained after constantly giving so much of yourself without having enough time to recover. heeseung had dreams and desire to release his own solo music and show a different side of himself as an artist, but he wasn’t able to do it, he pushed it aside for a long time so he started losing hope. the fading color of the car mirrors how his passion and motivation were slowly being overshadowed by frustration and disappointment yet the car never becomes entirely gray. the driver’s door is still red. that remaining red represents the part of heeseung that refused to let go of his dreams and passion. no matter how exhausted he became, no matter how much disappointment he faced, there was still a small part of him that continued to believe that things could get better. the car is literally following heeseung and refusing to let go. i feel like it symbolizes the passion that survived even when everything else seemed to be fading away – the fully red car shows the joy of a dream coming true – the gray car shows the emotional cost of everything that came afterward – and the driver’s red door shows that no matter how difficult the journey became, he never completely lost himself that’s why i believe the car represents heeseung/his dreams

In July 2014, Lars Mittank, a 28-year-old from Germany went on a vacation with his five of friends to Varna, Bulgaria. The week went by really fast," said Paul Rohmann, one of Mittank’s friends. However, the day before the group was scheduled to fly back home, Lars got in a fight with other German nationals at a bar. The fight stemmed from a disagreement over football. Lars was absent for most of the evening but reappeared at his hotel the next morning, recounting to his friends that he had been assaulted by a group of four men, resulting in injuries to his jaw and a ruptured eardrum. Afterwards, Lars visited a doctor who recommended against flying due to his injury. Additionally, the doctor prescribed an antibiotic for him. Despite his friends' desire to stay with him, he insisted he could manage alone. He encouraged them to stick to the initial travel schedule and fly home on July 7, which they did. Lars checked out of the hotel with his friends and then checked into a new hotel. But this is where things turn really strange. The day following his friends' departure, Lars displayed odd and paranoid behavior. From his hotel, he contacted his mother, Sandra Mittank, speaking in hushed tones, expressing fears that individuals were attempting to harm or rob him. He also urged her to cancel his credit cards. The CCTV in the hotel captured him pacing up and down the halls, looking out windows, and hiding in an elevator. Around 1 am, he departed from the hotel and came back approximately an hour later. His whereabouts during this time remain unknown. In the morning, he once again called his mother, telling her that the people pursuing him were getting closer. Lars arrived at Varna Airport on July 8, 2014, the day he intended to board his flight back to Germany. He sought advice from the airport doctor, Dr. Kosta Kostov, who later characterized his demeanor as "nervous and erratic." According to Kostov, he told Mittank that he was fine and could return home. Lars also expressed concerns about the medication he was taking. Shortly after, a construction worker entered the office, causing Lars to exclaim, "I don't want to die here. I have to get out of here." He abruptly fled the office, abandoning his luggage containing his wallet, cell phone, and passport. These final moments of Lars Mittank can be observed in the CCTV footage provided below. Upon exiting the airport, he can be observed in the footage jogging away from the airport, scaling a fence, and bolting into a meadow. Following this, he completely disappeared.

His sister neglects him, and the way he talks about his relatives makes it obvious that his family life is filled with distance rather than care😔 It’s the first time Pete has ever talked about his past, not running from it but actually saying it out loud while someone quietly listens to him. Niran doesn’t interrupt Pete or try to comfort him. He looks composed the whole time, but I can feel his emotions through the silence, the sigh, the way he listens. He is simply lying there but it’s a safe space for Pete to unravel, which is why Pete later says that people feel at ease around Niran. It’s not cuz Niran is affectionate, it’s cuz he says things as they are and that helps Pete feel like he can be himself around him, even at his most broken moment. Clearly, if he cannot control the outcome, he will refuse participation entirely.
