How to prepare your hardsurface asset for baking. we go through the entire process. Finalising the UVs: -making sure the uvs are actually unwrapped and a couple of methods of checking - properly offsetting UVs that are mirrored or duplicated - checking and understanding hard edges Mesh integrity: - no flipped faces and how to check for it and how to solve them with examples - correct scale/location and rotation - correct names and conventions + many parts - triangulation I see a fair few asking about this process, especially triangulation so hope it helps! #gamedev #gameart #3d #b3d

Happy I can finally share this ..been running indx on my v2 350 for a while now ..made a new gantry for it so I can mount all the indx tools on the rear instead of the front...with a nice RGB cover to hide the rear of the toolhead..it turned out really nice so far
