Here's a sound test of the Hybrid monster from early on. When developing the sound of the monsters we created an emotion board and used that to test out the different ways these things could sound. The sounds are a mix of our sound designer making weird noises layered with animals 😂 Using a person to create the backbone of the monster's sounds allows us to emote the context of the scene a lot more effectively. Then we layer in animal noises to give texture. #gamedev #IndieGameDev #terriblelizards

Vintage Camera Experts 🎥 We appreciate all the camera operator experts and enthusiast that have been reaching out. Ideally, we would love a robust army of imagers helping us gather as much imagery as possible - from different angles, distances, and altitudes with a variety of equipment. Two of the primary challenges for our camera operators right now are digital interference and the extreme speed and movement of the objects. For the former, there seems to be something about the phenomenon that interferes with digital camera technology. Because of this we are looking to also add a vintage camera suite. There’s lots of evidence that suggests analog imagery of the phenomenon produces better results in some circumstances. In regards to the speed and movement challenge, please see the below video clip from episode two. This is what we are dealing with. Note the speed and movement of the Tic Tacs at 100% vs. 15% . If you feel you’re up to the challenge and have something of value to add, please continue to reach out and offer solutions. 🙏🇺🇸

We warn of the catastrophic humanitarian repercussions resulting from the waves of extreme cold hitting the Gaza Strip, in light of the continued genocide and the suffocating siege, and the widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure it has left behind, as well as the forced displacement of more than one and a half million Palestinians to displacement camps that lack the minimum requirements for human life. According to documented field data, the number of deaths as a result of extreme cold since the beginning of the genocide until today, Sunday, January 11, 2026, has risen to 21 martyrs, all of whom were displaced persons from forced shelter camps, including 18 children, in a dangerous indicator of the scale of the humanitarian disaster threatening the lives of the most vulnerable groups. We also record that the number of deaths due to extreme cold since the beginning of the current winter season has reached 4 deaths, in light of the absence of heating means, the lack of safe shelter, the shortage of blankets and winter clothing, and the continued prevention of the entry of sufficient humanitarian aid. I’m honored to share that I’ve been commissioned by Tad Smith to create a new work consisting of both a digital piece and its physical twin. The commission came after Tad encountered my FACES collection and connected deeply with one of the works, which had already been acquired. Rather than letting the moment pass, he chose to commission a new piece born from that same spirit and emotional language. I’m deeply grateful for his belief in the work and for the thoughtful connection that made this possible. Special thanks to Rob De Los Santos for facilitating this in such a meaningful way. This kind of dialogue between physical and digital practice is something I care about profoundly, and I’m excited to share both versions of the work here. "Walking a Fine Line"
