Pressurization system uses bleed air routed through the Air Conditioning system to pressurize and condition the aircraft’s cabin. Outflow valves are used to regulate the pressurisation of the airplane. By setting the intended Flight Level and Landing Altitude, in AUTO mode, the pressurization controller strives to maintain the cabin altitude slightly below the selected landing altitude. HISAR-O batteries and ALP 100-G low-altitude radars have been deployed, increasing the number of indigenous and modern systems in the field. While legacy elements are being phased out step by step, a fully national solution is being built for a more independent and effective defense structure. Thanks to the multi-layered radar network, all gaps from low altitude to long range have been closed. 🚨#Newsalert: Today, around 12:32 PM East Africa Time, a Qatar Airways flight (Qatari 6U) originating from Doha and destined for Entebbe, flying at an altitude of 38,000 feet, was incorrectly instructed by Air Traffic Controllers in Mogadishu to ascend to 40,000 feet. This flight found itself on a collision course with an Ethiopian Airlines aircraft (Ethiopia 602) that had departed from Addis Ababa en route to Dubai, cruising at 39,000 feet. The Qatari flight almost collided with the Ethiopian Airlines plane flying above it. Fortunately, the aircraft's onboard Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) issued an immediate warning, indicating the presence of another aircraft at the instructed altitude. Walters used 42 helium-filled weather balloons, a safety harness, ballast tanks filled with water bottles, and a pellet gun to regulate altitude. His goal was to achieve a tethered ascent to 30 feet, but the tether snapped. He quickly ascended to approximately 16,000 feet, drifting into controlled airspace near Los Angeles International Airport. After several hours, he used the pellet gun to burst several balloons to descend, landing safely in a residential area in Long Beach. Walters was fined by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration for violating airspace regulations.

This was such a close call that all simulations on it resulted in a crash [and would have likely been one of the worst in history had it been so] August 9 1978: Olympic Airways Flight 411, a B-747 with 418 aboard, had a near miss over Athens (Greece). This was such a close call that all simulations on it resulted in a crash [and would have likely been one of the worst in history had it been so] August 9 1978: Olympic Airways Flight 411, a B-747 with 418 aboard, had a near miss over Athens (Greece). Due to crew actions on takeoff, engine thrust was reduced drastically. The jet lost significant altitude and speed: it flew as low as 153 ft and at a speed of 158 kts before the crew recovered. Yesterday, ISRO conducted the 5th Integrated Main Parahute Air-drop Test (IMAT-05) to test Gaganyaan's deceleration system! 🪂 In this test, a mass simulator fitted with Gaganyaan's decelebration (recovery) system was dropped from an IAF IL-76 aircraft from 2.5 km altitude at ADRDE in Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh. The sequence of events in the test were as follows: 1. Two Apex Cover Separation chutes remove Gaganyaan's protective Apex cover. 2. Deployment of 2 Drogue chutes. 3. Release of drogues. 4. Extraction of Main chutes using 3 Pilot chutes. 5. Deployment of 3 Main chutes.
