🛰️ Two Russian electronic warfare systems "Volna Kupol Garant" designed to suppress the Starlink satellite communication system have been destroyed. These are the systems that the Russians use to combat one of the most important elements of modern warfare - Starlink satellite communication. "Volna Kupol Garant" works on a fairly simple principle: the system emits powerful interference towards Starlink satellites, trying to "jam" signals from Ukrainian terminals. To do this, the complex uses 8 communication channels in the 14–14.5 GHz range at once. In fact, the satellite receives such a powerful stream of interference that it stops "hearing" legitimate terminals. One such complex is capable of covering an area of about 20 km². "Volna Kupol Garant" consists of six trailers, on which 12 antennas are located. Each antenna is hidden in a characteristic radio-transparent casing and is equipped with a mechanism for pointing at satellites flying over the area of operation of the complex. Due to the high power consumption, the system can operate both from its own generators and from external power supply. The first cases of the use of such electronic warfare means were recorded back in 2024 in the Kharkiv direction. Today, the Russians are increasingly trying to use them to protect logistics and rear facilities from Ukrainian long-range strikes. However, as practice shows, any active electronic warfare sooner or later becomes a target itself.

🇺🇸✈️ Two newly introduced (2024) EA-37B Compass Call electronic warfare aircraft have arrived in the UK and are being prepared for deployment to the Middle East. 🔺 These platforms will provide CENTCOM with advanced long-range electronic warfare capabilities, including disruption of enemy communications, air defense systems, and command networks, as well as intelligence and targeting support. ✈️ As a next-generation system, many technical details remain classified, but it significantly outperforms its predecessor, the EC-130H. 🛠 Known specifications: ▪️ Platform: Gulfstream G550 ▪️ Crew: 2 pilots + 7 EW operators ▪️ Max speed: ~980 km/h ▪️ Range: ~12,000 km ▪️ Max altitude: ~15,500 m 📡 Electronic warfare capabilities: ▪️ Jamming communications between units and command centers ▪️ Disrupting and degrading air defense radars ▪️ Blocking GPS and navigation signals ▪️ Side-mounted antenna systems allowing stand-off electronic attack 🛡️ The aircraft operates outside enemy air defense range, using high altitude to cover large areas. 🔹 It emits powerful electromagnetic signals to overwhelm radar systems, creating false targets or noise, making missile guidance difficult. 🔹 Uses digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) to capture, modify, and retransmit signals, generating false aircraft signatures. 🔹 Can disrupt data links between radars and launch systems, breaking coordination. 🔹 Also capable of airborne cyber interference, targeting wireless networks and disrupting enemy systems. 🇺🇦👍 Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence has purchased the first batch of Ukrainian guided aerial bombs (KABs), according to Mykhailo Fedorov. "The first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb (KAB) is ready for combat use. Ukraine continues to develop high-tech solutions for the front. A participant in the Brave1 program has created the first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb, which has already passed testing and is ready for operational deployment. The development took 17 months. The system is designed specifically for the realities of modern warfare and features a unique design. It is not a copy of Western or Soviet systems, but an original Ukrainian engineering solution intended to strike fortified positions, command posts, and other enemy targets at significant distances after release. The warhead weighs 250 kg. The Ministry of Defence has already purchased an initial experimental batch. Pilots are currently training with the system and adapting its use to real combat conditions. Ukraine is shifting from importing individual solutions to developing its own high-tech weapons systems, strengthening its defence forces and improving battlefield capabilities. In the near future, Ukrainian guided bombs will be used against enemy targets, increasing both range and accuracy and changing the dynamics of modern warfare." - The Ukrainian Minister of Defence wrote in his Telegram channel.
