Does it matter how you take away as long as it all meets up at the top… ?? No one hit a ball on the way back…. Just curious 👍 thanks

Lots of ways to get it done, and lots of different backswings in the hall of fame! It matters, but there’s no one size fits all!

Would you follow that same motion with the driver swing?

He's a great way to improve your inside or outside takeaway Place an alignment stick directly behind your ball & from your POV, make sure for the first 2-3ft of the takeaway the club head tracks on top of the stick This will help fix an outside or inside takeaway for you 👊

If you have an inside takeaway or you push your hands away from your body too much, do this drill 50-100 times a day All you need is an alignment stick 🙂 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

Improve Your Takeaway! Do you struggle to get your golf swing started the right way? Chances are, your takeaway isn’t helping! I see a lot of golfers rotating incorrectly in the takeaway, here’s a drill to master it 🔹Too much rotation causes the club to go inside 🔹Put an alignment stick in between the belt loops, don’t max out rotation, but don’t “not rotate” either 🔹During the takeaway, make sure the alignment stick rotates only a small amount 🔹This will help the club move back on plane, & track right up in front of you Give it a go to improve your takeaway 👊🏼

If you are suffering from an inside takeaway, make sure you aren't making this mistake first, or you'll struggle to fix it... Your setup position matters a lot. It changes how your wrists will work in the swing Watch this video to see how 👇 PS: If you'd like 3 drills to fix your takeaway, you can get them via the link below 👊 👇👇👇

1. Fix your posture Your joints aren’t failing, your alignment is. Years of slouching compress your spine, hips, and knees. Stand tall. Shoulders back. Pelvis neutral. Here's how to test your posture & an exercise to help fix it:

If you suffer from an inside takeaway & it's affecting your swing... Check your grip... It could be the reasons you can't take the club away up in front of you PS: Not saying an inside takeaway is "bad"... Just showing you a reason it may be happening.

Fix your takeaway without leaving the house. 🏌️‍♂️ If your takeaway feels off, you might be pulling the club too far inside. PGA Coach Jimmy Wisinski has a simple drill you can do right in your hallway. ➡️ The Doorframe Drill: 1. Stand in the center of a doorframe. 2. Take your normal grip. 3. Backswing: Hands should brush the frame while the clubhead stays outside.
