Here's how your hands should move during your takeaway in order to achieve a square club face! 👇👇👇 Now, IF you are someone who rolls the face open, PERHAPS you need to FEEL the movement that I'm doing that is closing the face... & vice versa if you close it & need it more square And yes, depends on grip type... He's a great way to improve your inside or outside takeaway Place an alignment stick directly behind your ball & from your POV, make sure for the first 2-3ft of the takeaway the club head tracks on top of the stick This will help fix an outside or inside takeaway for you 👊

Most golfers who struggle with a strong grip do so because they grip the club once the club is on the ground Try to hold the club level to the ground & take your grip from there. While it COULD be an issue, first make sure it's not doing THIS 👇 When trying to rotate in your backswing, don't push the lead knee out over the lead foot. If you work on the root cause first, it's very common that a lot of other "flaws/tendencies" will be fixed as a result of changing things prior You can't fix a terrible downswing if the backswing is the cause of that poor downswing... I see a lot of golfers rotating incorrectly in the takeaway, here’s a drill to master it 🔹Too much rotation causes the club to go inside 🔹Put an alignment stick in between the belt loops, don’t max out rotation, but don’t “not rotate” either 🔹During the takeaway, make sure the alignment stick rotates only a small amount 🔹This will help the club move back on plane, & track right up in front of you Give it a go to improve your takeaway 👊🏼
