Please take some concrete action to fix this road so it lasts at least a year. You can also hold MLA Manjula Aravind Limbavali and Aravind Limbavali accountable for why road works in Mahadevapura aren’t lasting even a month! Siddaramaiah DK Shivakumar Office of the OSD to CM Karnataka, We wish to bring to your notice that Doddamara Road near Notre Dame Academy has become completely non-motorable. School-going children travel this crater-filled road daily. Recently, PWD took up this road under a ₹9 crore tender for 5 km (Kodhati Gate to Central Jail Road/Hosa Road). But only 2.5 km was completed, leaving the rest in shambles. Our concern: How was this passed without proper auditing? Why wasn’t the road completed end-to-end? The ₹18,500 Cr Tunnel Road is a deadweight on Bengaluru, designed not for the common man, but for the elite 10% who own private cars. What the city actually needs: - 16,580 BMTC buses by 2031. We have just 6,800. - 317 km Metro by 2031. Only 78 km operational today. Yellow Line has been ready for 4 years, still unopened. Over 20 stalled flyover and road projects.
