Hi Kyle. My son is a school shooting survivor. The East HS students asked the Denver School Board to bring back SROs. We are not doing enough to keep our kids safe.

Or we're not demanding enough of them, they have too little guidance and leadership, and this is what we get in return.

We give them everything and they can’t overcome anything because they (generation generalization) are soft. I was a latch key kid who rode a bike to school in 1st grade, had no supervision after school from 1st grade, did my own laundry by 3rd grade. They’re too sheltered now.

You need to ask WHY that young man was A. being patted down on a daily basis and B. what his life was like that he ended up bringing a gun to school

Agree Kyle. And we are asking way too much of our schools to keep these children safe. Nothing more than school staff want to do than educate students and keep then safe but that seems almost impossible these days. I feel for the students and staff members.
