i tried Framer Agent to build a brand guidelines website template, something i've meant to do for a while. a site i can swap a logo, nudge a colour, update the type, and send a link instead of re-exporting a pdf nobody opens. a few observations on the AI process: - i started with references. pulled together a handful of minimalist grid layouts and had Claude describe the visual style back to me. you can do the same inside Framer, feeding it the references directly. - from there i had it write a detailed prompt aimed at that exact style, then asked it to break it into a few smaller steps. then i fed those into the agent, one at a time. - the scaffolding stage is the satisfying part. for something this grid-driven (the columns, the spans, the whole underlying structure) watching it land in seconds is hard to look away from. - but then i still have to sweat the details: text alignment, line-heights, image sizes. i don't mind it at all; it's the part i like, making these design decisions. the strength of the agent is the mundane work. point it at the stuff that eats your time: cleaning up the build, adding responsiveness, dropping in small effects, checking text and colour styles stay consistent, writing alt text for every image. then i get the time back for the parts of web design that are actually fun. 🤝

Life update 👀 Today is my last day Webflow. I'm beyond proud of the work I did during my 3 years here, everything from designing & building Webflow University, helping create designs & visuals for our course lessons, making tons of illustrations for our keynotes, contributing to the new logo + rebrand & new designer UI last year, early explorations of AI in the product, and so much more. A few days ago, a well-known designer publicly announced he was quitting design, overwhelmed by what AI is now capable of producing. A lot of designers share that feeling right now. its me, blank - i'm starting a new company called S7RX and im going to do what i've never done before - sharing it all here you probably know me as the founder of openpurpose but in short - i'm a designer turned founder - i started my studio 17 years ago called 3drops in stockholm which i rebranded to openpurpose a couple of years ago and grew it to over 70 members globally working with leading tech companies in us besides running the agency, over the past decade i took on a few personal projects that meant something to me - like leading the digitization of the global visa system for over 65 countries and working with a few enterprise founders to launch daring projects to future proof their organizations along the way i experimented with dozens of ideas which some turned into ventures and a few became companies with their own dedicated teams but for as long as i can remember i only had one dream - to launch a brand that earns like a tech company but feels like a lifestyle brand so now at the age of 36, i'm doing just that and calling it S7RX my first product is launching next week and with that we are officially starting this new journey so follow on IG to see the stories and say hi : ) this will be different

People still want soreness to mean something. You wake two days after a session barely able to sit down, and a voice at the back of your mind says good, that one's going to grow. It isn't. Soreness is the receipt for damage you haven't finished repairing. While the body patches torn tissue, it isn't building new muscle on top. The ache marks the days the work is paused. A sore muscle is a weaker one too. Force production drops while it's tender, so the next session runs at a discount, lighter loads, poorer stimulus. And the swelling you read as size? Fluid. It does nothing for growth and drains away in days. If you're sore all the time, that isn't a badge. It's a message. Drop some volume and put a few more rest days in. The muscle grows on the days you can walk.

I spent a day playing with GPT-5.6-Sol, and I can now say with much more confidence that it hasn’t improved at design tasks. I haven’t noticed any meaningful improvement in its coding capabilities, either. Maybe it's just in the tasks I gave it. However, I finished an app we started building on a stream yesterday and brought it close to the original idea I had in mind. It’s incredibly easy to build tools like this these days. I basically gave Codex a batch of editorial grid examples, then combined those layouts with formula-based pattern generation. A few prompts and some polishing, and you have something that can serve as a basic brand identity system.

This is just one of the parts of my secret sauce that makes up ⚡️ Hyper Realism on Photo AI and Interior AI Really high definition crispy details at up to 24 megapixels and very fast too and the most detailed upscaler out there now Kinda obvious but just going super high in resolution solves most of the problems of AI photos because every tiny detail (like a tiny hair on a skin) becomes a 640x480 block that can be generated by AI much more accurately than trying to do it as a few pixels It's made by my old AI dev philz1337x and for everyone to use at clarityai .co, I'm not affiliated but he's my friend and I use it!

i'd have to disagree here the problem isn't AI UGC. the problem is most of what people are posting is slop when the quality is there, AI UGC beats real creators we've built the best system for realistic AI UGC videos right now: > realistic visuals > realistic voice > realistic quality > optimized movements and hooks for virality also way cheaper than a real creator and built for scale. mass automation across thousands of posts and multiple accounts. the standard AI tools and templates people are using will never work on organic. it's going to get terrible reach because people can instantly tell it's slop. especially on tiktok where the audience is much younger... you need high quality AI UGC systems that took actual effort to put together these videos can be used at scale across ecom, consumer apps, software etc.. example below:

I'm seeing a lot of people saying it is just a bad upscaling instead of Gen AI, but it is indeed Gen AI animation. There are things going on in it that just don't make any sense for puppet animation. Here are some parts that make it clear, I slowed down the video so it's easier to notice the chunky parts. I checked the past ADs and it's possible to notice details (from an animator's POV) that are common and make sense for human work, so it was definitely a choice to use AI on this new AD

There's a huge problem in the trucking industry that nobody likes to talk about. I don't mind talking about it, though. I'm not going to hold back now. The FMCSA is a failure. They're allowing inexperienced drivers on our roads with your families. Some are here on work visas, and some are US citizens. How many people have to be injured or die before they start listening to us? Will you or a loved one be the next victim? I hope not. Trucking Across America with the Schmitts and I can fix this if you advocate for us.

Just did my first MOTS-c pin today and started conservative at 2mg. Felt absolutely nothing right away, no energy surge or noticeable change yet. Did the pin at 5:00am and worked out at 6:30am. A few of you mentioned getting a pretty quick boost. For those who’ve run it (especially at lower doses like 2-5mg): How long did it take for you to notice energy, stamina, or “more in the tank” effects? Same day? Few days? Or does it build slower over 1–2 weeks? Am i on the right track with low-dose and let it build slowly, or crank this shit up? Reminder that MOTS-c is for research use only / not for human consumption. LFG

I still see regular people have no clue how we use AI to code They think it's like AI Agents and lots of hype bs But for me most of it isn't very difficult or deep or fancy but it's simply A LOT of autocompleting and prediction now Small things like this a few mins ago: Nomad List's weather API robot that pulls the weather every day to show on the site, sometimes it hits an error on the API side, and it sends that to my Telegram Then I wanna know "ok for what city is it erroring?" The moment I just put my cursor on "Bad API reply" it already knows what I want and autocompletes to "Bad API reply for city $city['name']" which will tell me for example "Bad API reply for Bangkok" Basic stuff like that saves me a lot of seconds and minutes in a day and it adds up!

Just me, a hot tea, and a problem worth solving. I'm 53. I spent 12 years in management. Good work, real impact and solving complex problems. But somewhere in there I stopped building with my own hands. Returning to code has been the most fun I've had in years. I think a lot of people have a version of this hunger. They just haven't found the window yet. Everybody has a window like this somewhere. Maybe it's 4am. Maybe it's a lunch break. Maybe it's the 45 minutes after the kids go to bed. 4am. Tea is going cold. The house is quiet. Everyone else is sleeping. Outside still dark through the window. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧. I lead product engineering by day. I manage 3 teams. I support 4M active users. I build iOS & Android apps and AI systems. I teach team members how to use Codex & Claude in their daily work to build things that move the business. But before any of that starts, I'm building. Agentic systems for AI-native businesses. Agents that think, route, and act without me holding their hand. The brain that remembers the whole business.
