Colorado just reported that 10,000 students have been pulled out of public school to homeschool. This is happening all over the country, and the crazy thing, in my anecdotal experience as the homeschool guy, so many of the parents are public school teachers. Makes you think.

Connecticut is one of the few states that really has no regulations when it comes to homeschooling and homeschooling.Parents want it to stay that way. “We provide what we feel that our children need. Homeschooling. Parents like Stephanie are passionate about their choice to keep their children out of public schools, and they're telling lawmakers who are considering changes hands off” “Legislation being considered would require school districts to tell the state Board of Education what students are being removed from school. That information would be shared with the Department of Children and Families, but there could be some privacy issues with sharing that information” Homeschool families would have to demonstrate (e.g., via annual portfolios or assessments) that their education is “equivalent” to public school standards in core subjects like reading, math, science, and social studies

The government doesn't have to do it, I can do it!" We quickly went from homeschooling being somewhat stigmatized to now it being the GOLD STANDARD! THIS IS THE WAY!!

Why did the Government in recent decades try to hide & now deny the existence of the Pigmy People in Australia?. We learnt about them in School but now our Government has tried to erase them from our nations history. The Pigmy people were an inconvenience to the Globalists agenda. They seem to be rewriting all of history atm. If they can write an entire race out of existence, imagine how bad our ancient history is & how much they have covered up.

My Question is why is she not teaching her son to read? and then I think maybe she lacks the skills to do so. We have to stop counting on the school system to do things for our children - They do not care about our children this is why homeschooling is so important

They use the writing process to help themselves think. This is how they do their best thinking. Write to think about the world. Do this because you care, because you want to be part of progress, because you want to make a dent in the universe. Write to inspire and influence. And when you are finished writing, and you click publish, think about your work this way... the intent of your text is to cause readers to change the way they think about the world. Engagement metrics don't really matter in comparison. Whether or not your text is valuable, depends on whether or not your readers perceive that you have valuably changed what they think, or what they do, or how they decide. One of the reasons it's so hard for smart people to write well is because they don't write to change the way people think about the world. They write to complete a project, to earn a grade, to be assessed.
