🚨 A 50-year-old Tower Hamlets councillor has been charged for allegedly trying to get a 16-year-old girl to drop rape charges. My own local councillor was charged a year ago. Since then? Silence. Seriously, what’s going on in Tower Hamlets. ❌ An MP who has claimed over £1 million in expenses, earns close to £100k a year, and still lives in a council house she has admitted she doesn’t need… all while 20,000 local residents sit on the housing waiting list ❌ The councillor responsible for scrutiny living in Bangladesh, not scrutinising anything, but still collecting a taxpayer-funded salary ❌ A mayor previously banned from politics for five years for corrupt and illegal practices ❌ And now my own local councillor - a 50-year-old - charged in connection with alleged attempts to interfere in a rape case involving a 16-year-old girl I don’t know about you, but I’m utterly sick of this. And who is going to fix it? I personally don’t trust any of the existing politicians in Tower Hamlets to fix this mess. So I’m coming to the conclusion that I’m going to have to fix it myself.
