Cooper Flagg on the impact he wants to have in his career, on and off the court, in Dallas. "A lot. It means a lot to me for this to be my first city and God willing, however it goes, you know be the only city. It's the first city I've ever played basketball in and it means a lot to me. I want to be able to give back in a big way over time and it doesn't have to be all at once; but, slowly just give back to the community and show that it means a lot to me to be a part of that."

"F1 has become very popular. what do you think about this change?" lando: "formula one in 2019 was just a very closed sport. you really didn't see much about the people, the drivers, the mechanics, the engineers. you really just saw the show on tv. you saw the racing, and really that was about it. now formula one is a lot more open. there's a lot more fans in the races and paddock. everything i do now, people see. it's on tv, netflix, different series, youtube, it's on every piece of social media, which allows it to grow in a much better way. and i think you see some more fans now that love the people, they love the drivers. they can understand more and relate more to the personalities of each driver in formula one. because it was a very male dominated sport. now most of my fans actually are female and that's an amazing thing that we're able to attract and bring in a younger generation, because they are the future of formula one, and also more variation. so it's a pleasure to be part of that journey"

TV critic and broadcaster Scott Bryan talked about autism representation in ‘Heated Rivalry’ on the BBC Breakfast this morning 💗 “The show depicted neurodivergence, many people picking up one of the characters in the drama is autistic. I think it highlighted the traits that he was experiencing in a really grounded way, but also highlighted all of the other parts of his personality as well. His autism wasn’t the only thing we learnt about him. For myself, I found out I was autistic only a couple of years ago and this was the first depiction of autism on TV that I saw to be really quite relatable and realistic, and I know for a lot of other people they found it to be the same way.”

Those were problems. The other problem is, no easy gratifications, other than some real effort at careful characterization and humor. That was it. Without the humor, it would have been unbearable. Without an acknowledgement of the humanity of the characters, despite all their flaws, their vanities, their absurdities -- if on some level, you can't make people care about the characters, you've got a problem no matter what you're doing. We had some obligations to people if they wanted to watch, but a happy ending was not among the list of obligations."
