How do we feel about Newts?

when i was learning about natural history as a kid, amphibians were my favorite topic - especially newts and salamanders.

Love newts!! I always loved to see them during nature walks at primary school, and in my friend’s pond.

They're cute -- swimming lizards. But they don't purr (croak, if you must) or peep like frogs.
