Simple is always better. The more parts the greater chance of failure.

Nope. We definitely don’t need electronics and batteries used inside a mechanical device. That’s just more variables which may go wrong, especially in today’s modern world..

I don't like it. It complicates a simple mechanical tool. For the record, I'm against adding tech to my hammers and screwdrivers too.

Probably as happy as when my laptop reboots to install "needed" update during an email....its not a marriage made in heaven. There's lots to work out before it's great.

Guns ARE tech. They have been using high tech for a very long time, from high tech propellant technologies to material technologies in the frames and barrels to the mechanical technologies of their operations. Adding electronics is just another step in the long chain.

The advancement of tech in lights and lasers absolutely. I do not want my sidearm Bluetooth pairing with my phone.
