She seems like she just wants a healthy environment for her boyfriend. In my younger years, I dated a guy who pulled a taco out of the glove box and started to eat it. I asked when he got the taco and he said 3 or 4 days ago. I shrugged it off. Finally saw the inside of his apartment. His fridge had a moldy brick of cheese and a 3 liter of soda, nothing else. His apartment had clothing everywhere and the floor had stuff all over it. I moved on after that.
