How does cutting disability benefits like PIP help people into work? The government hasn't provided any evidence that it does. In fact, removing PIP may force some disabled people who are currently in employment to drop out of work entirely. Me on BBC Radio 4 Today:

@BBCr4today B4 anything is even implemented,this @UKLabour Govt are destroying my mental health&having a knock on effect on my physical health,the way they’ve gone about announcing,”consulting”,the briefings,rhetoric,the seeming unwillingness to listen,the proposals themselves,cruel&callous!

@BBCr4today Simple, Nadia, it doesn't help them into work at all. I just think they are lazy and I don't want to pay for them anymore, balancing the books on the backs of the poor Nice to see you thinking about the UK for a change! I was starting to think you were the MP for overseas!

@BBCr4today On my street alone there are 4 households ( with larger than avg family) that I know of that could work, but choose not to. Whilst I am on state pension and a small pension from my employment, less than 15K per annum, pay tax to keep them leading a better life style than many.

Philip receives PIP & Reeves says if he can't work he'll keep getting it Except PIP isn't related to work. Its to help disabled people (in or out of work) meet the extra costs of being disabled. Either RR doesn't know about the benefits shes slashing or shes misleading viewers

Lisa Nandy is either lying or has grossly misunderstood what her constitutents are saying here. PIP is NOT an out-of-work benefits. 1 in 5 people on PIP are in work. Noone on PIP WOULD EVER say this. Full stop. I will be complaining to the PCC.
