@susannareid100 Some rubbish spouted by the presenters. BR was the 2nd most cost efficient rail network in Europe, they did a remarkable job despite being seriously under-funded over a long period. Since privatisation, taxpayer funding has rocketed, as have fares.

@susannareid100 If the government believe branding, a new app and “ one person in each region being 100% responsible for everything” is going to bring back the golden age, they’re even more deluded than we all think they are!!

@susannareid100 What planet is Heidi on? This government couldn’t buy a shag in a brothel let alone run an agile innovative rail system! Comical.

@susannareid100 It was a shitshow of immense proportions last time because of poor management and a union stranglehold. No one sane would want it back

Waffle waffle waffle & misleading information thrown in for good measure. The freeze of rail fares only affects 50% and relates to England & doesn’t relate to Manchester to London. Plus only 3-6% of pop use the train & of that fig only 30% for work. How’s this helping working people & what about Wales Scotland Northern Ireland !!!!

@susannareid100 I wish someone would ask her why is the rail industry on its knees! By the time any of these plans are implemented many skilled people will have left the profession due to a lack of work. In the meantime we’re heading towards a huge accident.

@susannareid100 Suzanna needs to stop nitpicking at this government on everything they are trying to do, she could focus on the positives and give them a chance, unless of course she wants Farage to replace it? 🤨

@susannareid100 British rail is already costing taxpayers' money, new signage everywhere, plus new uniforms for staff 🙈

@susannareid100 Richard made the point in asking why our trains can’t run like other countries I’m guessing it’s because they have pride in their trains and their governments invest money to keep them running on time and clean recently we had the women’s euros there trains was free of charge

@susannareid100 New logo and an app won't make it work any better Centralisation will probably increase costs as the unions won't allow any dilution of their power and moving it into the public sector will just make it worse ie poor procurement, massive pensions, and simple bad management

@susannareid100 I know the Mainline Railways are BAD at the moment but taken into public control it will be strike after strike and even higher ticket prices.

@susannareid100 @toryboypierce @richardm56 Never had a problem with Thameslink, which I use from South Coast to London and beyond. Yes, there are cancellations, but for good reasons. Rarely delayed. Staff always helpful. Moaners need to put their big pants on and get a life.

@susannareid100 In West Yorks they’re still using 48 year old pacer trains Cold and smelly in the winter Hot & can’t open a window in the summer Always running late or over capacity Saying your “freezing prices” means nothing on a overpriced 1981 service British Fail more like!

@susannareid100 I’m curious where all the money is coming from when the government in my opinion have broken there promises to taxpayers nobody has anymore money to give them to save the trains in my opinion the problem with the trains is they was sold off to to many owners with no idea

@susannareid100 One person in each area 'responsible" equals another £500000 salary plus bonus tmes however many. You're better off sharing that between the station managers who can keep track of people and requirements more effectively and report to the transport ministers office

@susannareid100 I got a train from Newcastle to Edinburgh on Saturday and it’s safe to say, I won’t be getting another anytime soon. Absolute disgrace how many people were crammed on this train. Was definitely unsafe, and people could not get on who even had tickets.
