It’s possible because the water and the hot slates are cousin and they go on holiday quite often to Japan to eat jollof and stew goat while riding a unicycle. I hope my explanation helped ❤️

The water molecule is splitting into o2 and H2 and it’s the hydrogen that is burning. Could be some ozone in there as well.

What is burning is the flammable gases coming off the red hot metal

ABC physics, Water is made of H2O, and oxygen increase the fire and make it flammable so when this hot metal goes under water, water vaporate and oxygen makes the fire.

The water turns into oxygen and hydrogen in a very high degrees, than the gas burn with the high heat

Metal oxides fast when hot. It takes the oxygen from the water and releases hydrogen. That is what burns. The first method of hydrogen production was to run water into a hot metal pipe.

Oil quenching bath? Or just stuff popping off due to temp difference?

Dihydrogen Monoxide can catch fire if the molecular bonds are broken.

Water isn’t actually burning—water doesn’t combust like fuel. What you’re seeing is a dramatic physical reaction: rapid, violent boiling when a very hot stone is dropped into cooler water.

Water doesn't burn it evaporates. The flames were too hot for the water to put out.

@grok metal + H₂O → metal oxide + H₂ Then the hydrogen burns in air. physics isnt done yet and shit like this proves it stupid arrogant humanity made our LLM's unable accept that there are gaps fucking annoying

Just as water can be hydrolyzed by electricity it can be thermolysed at high enough temps. I e it is split into hydrogen and oxygen. Not saying for sure that's what's going on but it's a possibility.

When a lot of people see something like this, they think I'm their mind, how would hell fire be then. Trust me, the fear of hell fire has kept a lot of people from showing their true colours.😂

Bah c’est de l’oxygène et de l’hydrogène… deux composés inflammables mais assez dense pour l’étouffer. Si la température est trop élevé alors l’eau peut s’enflammer

That was a lot of internal heat that needed more depth of water to cool it off
