Hi! Actual drug expert here. Almost nothing you are saying is true and this is literally just made up nonsense.

Ryan, We provide references in the show note captions of the full episodes and consult colleagues prior to release and if anyone ever has a specific critique related to something covered on a podcast or elsewhere, we have a portal (linked below) to let us know and to provide reference IDs, etc. (linked below) We read these and incorporate as future content, corrections, new guests, etc. Note: I’ve invited @canna_brain onto the HLP to discuss cannabis and we are in early back and forth via email. Thank you!

For people who are actually interested in understanding the science of cannabis, I would recommend visiting where open access lectures from actual leaders in the field like @MegHaneyPhD @zivacooper @neurovoice @HillardCece and others can be found.

Holy fucking shit, it is actually disturbing how inaccurate the overwhelming majority of what is said here is. Like I have to believe that you have legitimately just made this stuff up. There is literally no research that has ever been done that could be cited to support this.

Love seeing the longer video on X! I am not anti-weed in the slightest. However, it can seriously worsen depression and anxiety despite addicts claiming otherwise. I wish more who smoke regularly would be introspective if it is actually bettering their mind + life.

As a former heroin addict, absolutely zero issue with weed. Wish the stigma was removed in recovery, my former friends are mainly dead

I can tell you from counselling people who smoke weed they are lost! And the more they feel lost they more they smoke. Years later they find themselves in a place they don’t recognized having bo idea who’s life they’re living anymore.

Marijuana dulls your drive. The nightly “treat” becomes a life-long trap

Any useful tool can be used destructively.
