How Much Money Voice Actors Make!

I mean poor dude wants to chase a dream but at the same time he is only working 4 hours a week on that… gotta get a full time job to supplement that! I haven’t watched the full episode so I’m not going to judge. Chase that dream though big dog!

English VA should be all replaced by AI.

It's a tough gig, for sure. Actors I hired for video game work (voice + mocap) were regularly ringing me a week after the session, chasing payment and wanting me to lean on accounts to get their invoices through ASAP.

i think make alot

I make $500 an hour. I work one hour a month.🤣

He did say the money is in the americna shows and not dubbing since the dub is hourly. Also worth noting his characters are not main characters meaning he doesn’t have as many lines. The bigger characters you get, the more work you have. It’s just about filling up your time.

I made exactly $1 for a morning of it.

I know a guy you hear on tv commercials all the time, he sold the rights to his voice to a AI company for cash.

Been that way for years

The real money rn for VAs is training AI models. 10s of thousands of dollars per contract

I was intrigued and then I rolled my eyes

So more of a hobby, really.
