Gorillaz was introduced to me as "hey, have you heard that project with Del the Funky Homosapien and the guy from Blur?" and I was like "no, I have not" so literally before I had yet heard the second song

Honestly it was when I was like 10 and finally getting i to music and my dad excitedly went to HMV and brang back Gorillaz: Demon days and a Blur album and we sat talking and listening to it all afternoon. Cherished memory I'll never forget

Like 2008. A radio station played a double shot and it was Gorillaz and Blur. So I was like "wait what?" Looked up that Damon Albarn was in both. Neat.
