Who am I to question the Tunnel Road project? asks DCM. Sir, I am a common Kannadiga. A Bengaluru boy who loves our city. A common man who is suffering in traffic everyday. As a Bengalurean and with deep concern for the city's future, I would urge the DCM to consult experts and transport planners before making a decision on the tunnel road, ensuring that it serves the best interests of the city. Many citizens of Bengaluru are expressing their opposition to this proposal, and the DCM asks what authority they have oppose. Let me remind - we are taxpaying citizens. Bengaluru belongs to us all. Bengaluru, once built by visionary leaders, is now facing challenges due to poor planning, and it is our collective responsibility to safeguard its future. A vehicle was caught on video dumping garbage on the road in Ward 29, Sarvagnanagar Division. As per direction of the Bengaluru North City Corporation Commissioner Sri. Bengaluru package: Study at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, survive Bannerghatta Road, and heal at Jayadeva Hospital People regularly pass through this stretch of road, which begins near Jayadeva Hospital and continues up to the main road entrance. Unfortunately, the entire stretch is riddled with multiple potholes, making daily commuting extremely difficult and unsafe.Because of this poor road condition, bike riders are the worst affected. Their vehicle suspensions are getting severely damaged, and constant jerks are taking a toll on their backs and overall health. It genuinely feels like citizens are risking both their vehicles and their physical well-being just to travel a short distance. Is this what we call infrastructure development? A road that looks like it is competing with moon craters? It raises serious concerns about accountability and governance. What exactly are the authorities doing? Where is the government when such basic civic issues remain unresolved for so long? This particular stretch near IIMB Metro Station has become a daily struggle for commuters. Drunk driving horror on Indiranagar 100 Ft Road: Speeding car jumps divider, narrow escape for four Bengaluru witnessed a deadly late-night road accident on the busy Indiranagar 100 Feet Road, where a speeding car jumped the road divider and crashed near a hotel, narrowly missing a group of youngsters. The shocking incident, which looked straight out of a movie scene, was captured on CCTV. The accident took place on Thursday night at around 11:34 pm. According to initial information, a Skoda car came at high speed from Indiranagar 18th Main Road and was supposed to take a left turn towards the Domlur Flyover. However, due to drunk driving, the car failed to turn and instead went straight, hit the divider, flew across the 100 Feet Road, and crashed near a hotel. At the time of the crash, a group of young men and women had just finished dinner and were standing outside the hotel. Hearing the loud sound of the car hitting the divider, they instinctively ran away, which saved their lives. Even a slight delay could have resulted in the death of at least four people, police said. Investigations revealed that the car owner himself was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. Earlier in the night, the owner and the driver had gone to a party together, where both consumed alcohol. Later, in an intoxicated state, the owner took the car from the driver and began driving himself. Due to excessive speed and loss of control caused by alcohol, the car rammed into the divider and crashed violently.
