Important note: the tree had actually fallen after my video was recorded! I have been out of town and didn't realise it fell on its own. The flat stump here was done by the city to reduce the hazard caused by a jagged, splintered tree trunk. TL;DR the tree fell on its own.

Maybe it's time all Expats start doing it in India. They may be able to shame the local municipality and public works department into action !! It happened in Gurugram when one of the expats started a garbage disposal drive on MG Road. Indians have failed to shame the government officials into action. Imagine if the Foreign High Commission and Embassy staff start doing this and making videos about Pollution, Garbage, Bad Roads and Pavements or Traffic Chaos !!
