Only repayment of the missed is required. Apostasy vitiates fasting. If the apostate returns to Islam within the same day or period, the fasting should be repaid.

One is permitted to consume black coffee, green tea, lemon water (without sugar) and water during the fasting window. Do not add milk or sugar to your coffee or tea. 2. Alternate day fasting. One day of normal feeding/eating as desired, followed by fasting the next day and repeating this cycle on a regular basis. On fasting days, up to 500 calories consumption is permitted. 3. 5:2 pattern of intermittent fasting. Eating normally on 5 days, and fasting on two days (every week). You can choose whichever two days of the week you prefer, as long as there is at least one non-fasting day in between them. On fasting days, up to 500 calories intake is permitted. #intermittentfasting #fasting
