because he was the catcher when three tigers batters were hit by pitches? idk just my hypothesis. why would our left handed pitcher plunk a guy that bats .118 against lefties? retaliation

Everyone has an opinion. the team record speaks for itself. Also the collapse of last season proved he wasn't ready. He manged us right on out of game 7.

That is true but i don’t think he hit cal on purpose, think he just let one get away. Not a diss to cal but he isn’t exactly scary this season as of now especially with the count being 1-2 if im not mistaken
the reaction from him and the catcher make me think otherwise. felt like retaliation for the three batters Woo hit and Cal is the catcher, after all. doesn’t matter either way, i’m just annoyed our pitcher got a suspension for a less egregious looking HBP lol
De Jesus is a High A quality pitcher who has to play in the bigs because of a bet AJ Hinch lost. He simply is bad and didn’t mean to hit him.
