these the "stewards of the land" mentioned in the land acknowledgements?

But think of the trauma 🙄

Deport them back to Siberia

😂

They are not worth over 1000 a plant. It was when it was illegal Pure Propaganda The Government is just upset they don't have a monopoly on weed

The Mohawk territory straddles the Canadian-American border and they’ve been moving huge amounts of contraband for years. That weed was destined for the American market.

Triads hooked up with FN. This is 35 minutes from me. For several years in all neighbouring communities they have been doing these large scale grow ops. About 3 or 4 years ago near Picton they arrested Chinese along with Mexican nationals at one grow op.

It's just weed. Stop shitting your pants

The only reason this bust happened and the cannabis was seized is because it wasn't taxed. Had the operators offered the government extortionists in Ottawa their cut, everything would have been perfectly fine. In Canada it's about taxes and control. NOT CRIME!

Well I know the reserves just outside of Montreal do good business in cigarettes and alcohol, I guess weed was inevitable.

Steward of the land…

The only pipe lines they want running over their territory are ones you can smoke from

Who gives a shit, this is pot. This is so fucking stupid. Tax it let them harvest

Have been on a few reservations & have talked with more than a dozen chiefs in BC, AB, & SK. Most of those living on a rez live in virtual hovels (pic). Yet, chiefs have huge, modern two-story homes, drive expensive trucks & appear to have unlimited expense accounts.

Wheres the fent? I don't care about these guys, if was was native run then right on! they had jobs. I want to see the paki powder off the street

Whatttt. That is so blatant

Clearly you haven't a f'ing clue, I live next to that reserve and it was community members who got the ball rolling as they're fed up with it. If the police didn't shut it down the community was going to take matters into their own hands and violently remove the outside element.

What's with the only people charged are "non community members" do they expect us to believe the Natives would allow this on their land without making big $$$? 🙄

"Stewards of the Land"

This would also explain why so many Chinese agencies look to partner with indigenous community leaders ! Let’s look for fentanyl and meth too .

Would love to know how you got 200 million value… at most maybe 200k. Maybe

but they didn’t disclose the names of the Farmers 😂😂

Bet some of that got sold in New York as 2018 Farm Bill hemp THCa flower or got inverted into the dispensaries that still don’t have track-and-trace implemented for adult-use marijuana 🤷♂️

118,000 plants valued at $201,000,000? They're not even trying to be believable with this claimed value.

I’ve been hearing about Mohawk criminality for decades.

Guardian’s of the land my ass…

Surprised they worked with outside police. Their cops are normally owned by the people who run the illegal cigs and marijuana operations on the Reservation

Illegal pot and cigarettes on the rez? I am shocked. Shocked I tell you. Yes, I know if it was for reservation use, it would be fine, but I grew up in the area. There's literally a smoke shop every 10 feet. Every smoker I've ever known got smokes from them.

Pretty much every reserve in BC has an illegal grow op

What does “non community members arrested” mean? Does that mean the only people being charged are non status Indian people?

Weed isn't illegal - unless you're selling it, and not remitting the specified tax to the government. It's just like legal booze and cigarettes - almost ALL of the price you pay is TAX.

Ouch... go after the fentanyl drug cartels within the government. If this was a government run facility it would be okay with 'authorities.'
