Hugh Jackman reveals the emotional reaction when he finally put on Wolverine’s iconic yellow and blue suit. Hugh Jackman: “For 24 years, people have been talking about it. It was one of the first things Ryan said to me: ‘I wanna do it.’ And he goes, ‘We’re gonna do the yellow and blue.’ I was like, ‘Alright, I’m in.’ In my head, I was like, ‘I don’t know if it’s gonna work.’ As soon as I put it on, he had his Deadpool suit on, I had mine, and we walked onto the set. There were 100 crew members who had done 100 movies and seen everything. You could hear a pin drop. Everything—it was just a hush. There was one guy there, Billy Lawless, who’s Ryan’s dresser. He started to cry. His kid’s name is Logan, just so you know. And he goes, ‘This is the best day of my life.’ It’s the best. It looks so good. It feels so good. Except when you’re urinating, it does not feel good.” Jimmy Fallon: “It must be hard to get out of that.” Hugh Jackman: “It’s like a labyrinth getting there. It’s very hard.”

Hugh Jackman had never even heard of Wolverine before landing the role. Hugh Jackman says Russell Crowe was originally approached to play Wolverine but recommended Jackman instead. Jackman admitted: > "I'd never heard of X-Men." > "I didn't even know there was an animal called a wolverine." Thinking Wolverine was basically a wolf, he studied wolves before filming and even based his movements on them. When he showed up to rehearsal, director Bryan Singer stopped him. Jackman: "I was thinking wolves..." Singer: "Wolves? You're a wolverine." Jackman: "I said, 'What? No such thing.'" Singer told him to visit the zoo and see one for himself. Despite initially knowing almost nothing about the character, Jackman went on to become the longest-running actor to play Wolverine on screen. Do you think anyone else could have played Wolverine better than Hugh Jackman?

In Wolf of Wall Street, Jon Bernthal says he improvised “Ma, we got chicken or what?” “It was never even supposed to be my mother’s house. They just wired us for sound just in case.” “Again, even though there was no lines written in the scene, it was supposed to be something we were gonna shoot in five minutes. “It was just supposed to be a shot of me working out.” “We worked out this whole relationship and, you know, yelling to the mother in the house.” “And I remember the next day… Marty walked in… and he said to me, ‘Man, I saw what you did yesterday. It was great, it was great.’

I shot this video while we were stuck on the highway in Waco during the flooding. I was very concerned that the retaining wall wasn’t going to hold up and we would all just be stuck. I shot this video when the first responders sowed up. But we were literally stuck. There was water in front of us water to the left water to the right and cars behind us. It was like something out of a movie

I asked Jaylen Brown about Sam Hauser for the three-point record and he started laughing: “It was terrible. I remember when Sam almost had the record when we were in Washington, and he hurt his ankle, and I didn't play that game, and I was in the back, and I was like, ‘Bro, you got to get back out there. I need you to get that record.’ And he was like, ‘Oh, it's gonna come back to me. That was two years ago…. It might not be another two years.” “But it was a joy to watch, man. We was all rooting for him. I wanted him to get it, but probably it was a little bit too much pressure on it.”

Ryan Reynolds says Marvel rejected Deadpool & Wolverine until Hugh Jackman called and wanted back in "The first pitch I had for Marvel five years ago was a Deadpool-Wolverine movie in the Rashomon style. And they said NO" "So then I pitched the most idiotic movie. One was a Sundance movie, no special effects, no conflict" "Then I pitched one where it’s a two-hander with me and the hunter who shot Bambi’s mom. Their answer was, ‘We don’t touch Bambi, Ryan’" "It was like a year and a half of just tap dancing, until Hugh called and said, ‘I want to come back and do this’"

Andrew Garfield reveals how he and Tobey Maguire snuck into a cinema together to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home on opening weekend. "Me and Tobey, we became friends and we snuck in to a theater in Los Angeles on opening weekend, and we were just two middle-aged white guys in baseball hats and masks, absorbing the moment." "I'm far too old to be playing Spider-Man now, but they asked me back and it's the sweetest thing ever." "Tobey Maguire he's my Spider-Man. I would practice his lines in the mirror when I was in drama school... I've got to do it if Tobey's doing it." "My friend Terry McGinnis would crack up and look at me like, 'Yeah, you'll never play Spider-Man, Andy.' And then here we are." "Returning to the role was a stupid idea. It was a really, really scary thing to attempt especially just the costume."

Tom Holland says Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield had it easier with the Spider-Man suit Interviewer: Tom, what’s the worst thing about wearing a Spider-Man suit for 12 hours? Tom Holland: The worst thing is definitely the smell. You spend 12 hours in that thing, in a deep lunge, jumping up and down all day. That shit stinks. We did a really interesting exercise in pre-production where I tried on Tobey’s suit, Andrew’s suit, and my original suits. We sat down with the producers, Destin, and the costume department, and spoke about the things we all loved about those original costumes. The idea behind this suit was to make an homage to the things we loved about them. From a logistical point of view, Andrew and Tobey had it way easier than I had it. They had zips in different places, they could use the bathroom, they could take their mask off by themselves, they could take their gloves off. Zendaya: Take their gloves off… Tom Holland: For the fourth iteration of this character, it was the first time I could comfortably go to the bathroom. Interviewer: Could you drink with the mask on? Tom Holland: On this movie, I could take it off. In the previous movie, it was so tight that to take the mask off, you’d have to take the top off. This movie gave us a lot more freedom. One of the really awesome things we discovered while shooting was these new lenses. In certain light, you can actually see my eyes underneath the mask. Destin said, “I love being able to see that there is actually someone beneath that suit.” It really humanizes the superhero. Zendaya: I love the imperfections of the suit. It wrinkles, it moves, and you can see your ears a little, your jaw movement. I love those details. Tom Holland: With this new suit, we did away with that 3D printing element. It allowed me to be so much more flexible, and the suit was much stretchier. So it was definitely a comfier experience.

For the first time in any Transformers film, the human lead gets his own suit which he can use to fight the Terrorcons in Transformers Rise of the Beasts. This is of course Noah's Exo-suit. This suit was a lot of fun to work out and design. We tried to maintain a lot of similarities between it and Mirage since that was where the suit was coming from, but of course the pieces couldn't be 1:1 from Mirage. We ended up designing a lot of the pieces from scratch and the pieces that we could take from Mirage were massively modified to work well for the far smaller scale and tighter proportions of Noah. Because I had developed a procedural setup for all of our hero characters texturing and look development, the textures and look development of the suit were directly taken from Mirage and updated by our artists to work well for the suit through manual painting and tweaks. It was crucial that the suit still read as Mirage's body parts and not entirely new random metal parts. We handed the asset to WetaFX for the last sequence and they did an excellent job of integrating it beautifully into the live action footage and bringing the suit to life on Noah.

Ryan Reynolds says he and Hugh Jackman made a bet where the loser has to stand in Times Square in the Deadpool or Wolverine suit with no mask and take photos for as long as the winner wants "The bet is that if I lose, I have to go to Times Square wearing the Wolverine suit with no mask and take all the pictures with all the people for as long as he decides. If he loses, he has to get in the Deadpool suit, no mask, head to Times Square" "He's gonna stand there for as long as I want, take as many pictures as I want, and I'm gonna spy on him in a disguise from far away just so I can enjoy it"

Mitchell Robinson reflects on Jalen Brunson's leadership during the Knicks 29 point deficit to the Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Finals: "It was unbelievable. We was on some BS. I felt like we weren't really fully locked in and it was just like 'we do know we're in The Finals right now. So when Jalen stepped up and did that, it woke us up. We needed that. After that moment, it was just like, all right, here we go, let's get this. The moment he did that, just everything changed for us. Nobody was in their feelings about nothing he said. We took it and just said here we are, let's go."

Tobey Maguire says putting the Spider-Man suit back on was uncomfortable but instantly brought him back to the character. “Once you get through the process of really peeling it onto your body… it was uncomfortable getting it on.” “And then it’s a goof.” “It also has a sort of power, in a sense, because it brings me back into that character.” “There’s so much affinity for this character. It means so much to so many people.” “Once the goofiness of being in Lycra or Spandex goes away, you’re like, ‘Oh, wow. This is cool.’”
