HURRICANE GRAVEYARD - Record strong wind shear has been screaming across the Caribbean all season which is a hallmark of El Nino. We love wind shear because it tears hurricanes apart and protects us from storms. I don't see any tropical trouble for at least the next seven days.

The signal for tropical development is getting stronger. This is the Euro AI ensemble. It develops two strong waves exiting the African Coast in 1-2 weeks. The chance of formation of at least one of these is pretty decent. But the trip across the Atlantic won’t be easy, with dusty air in the deep tropics and #elnino fueled strong wind shear in the Caribbean. So if the storm/s form they will struggle for success. TROPICAL UPDATE: Northeasterly shear (white wind streams) and dry air have made development slow for Tropical Depression #2. You can see how it's not verticially aligned, with the circulation at 20,000 ft displayed south of the surface circulation. With that said, it's trying to become better organized with persistent storms flaring up on the southern side. If trends continue, we could see #Bertha by later today.

Powering our very unusual pattern - with early season Gulf cold fronts and strong wind shear - is an extremely amplified jet stream for September. It has thrown the whole Northern Hemisphere weather off-kilter. That means cool-dry weather this weekend for North-Central Florida about a month early! It also means hurricane killing wind shear across the Atlantic Basin! Here's the science: Warm air is being forced all the way up to the Arctic circle by an elongated jet stream. That will cause an "Omega block" to form this weekend over Central Canada - you can see the Greek Omega shape with cold air on either side. These "blocking" patterns are very tough to dislodge. Because what goes up, must come down, cool air is being forced south along the Eastern Sea Board bringing Faux Fall to Florida. Faux or not, we will take it! WFLA NEWS

It’s quiet - now - as we head into peak season, but that may change soon. The Atlantic has been under large scale sinking, crushing tropical development. But rising air from the Pacific is rounding the bend, and heading into the Atlantic in the coming weeks. That will cause favorable conditions for hurricanes to develop especially by mid September, but there’s a wave moving off Africa right now with a good chance of development later this week/weekend. After a brief dry break Friday, the models consistently show a rapid surge in moisture and a rapid start to wet season, as a long southeast fetch of wind forces tropical moisture from the tropics across the state leading daily downpours starting as early as this weekend/ early next week with East coast morning showers, West coast late day downpours. Watch #Melissa meander on a path right through some of the hottest (deep) waters on the planet, powering one of the strongest hurricanes ever, then leave a cool wake behind as it turns hot water into power to charge its rain and wind. The #caribbean in October is notorious for monster hurricanes and Melissa literally moved over the hottest waters not just in the Atlantic but also in the entire Caribbean. UPDATE: A LOT of tropical moisture on the way across Florida the next 5-10 days. For example, those moisture levels will be 50%-75% above average, which will aid in developing numerous rounds of storms across the state. Values shown are PWATS or precipitable water levels. Around 1.6" is typical this time of the year for Florida, which you'll notice we'll be above the next 7-10 days. Some online chatter about tropical development. Not impossible, but current odds are low. Physics-based models show the potential, AI models largely don't. Rainmaker regardless if it tries to form into a weak tropical/subtropical system or not. We need the rain!

So, my opinion on what the Antarctic (Antarctica) Anomaly is that it's a type of frequency technology. It must be way more powerful than HAARP, as many have claimed it to be, because we would see these anomalies at other HAARP sites, and we don't, not like this. With that said, and I'm very much trying to avoid letting what I want it to be not play a part here, I think it is a technology that is being used either off the coast of Antarctica itself or Bouvet Island. A third possibility is an area just to the northwest of the island that looks odd. It's possible it is a sonar scan from a ship, but why in that remote location? It looks like an antenna set up or rows of something that is out of place. I also believe that the weather events and fires that have taken place in Africa could possibly have been because of this. Each time we saw the anomaly, it was followed by a destructive weather event in Africa. A weird connection to that is we have been told and warned of a very busy 2024 Atlantic hurricane season. This is in part because of the above-average Atlantic ocean temperatures, which is the fuel to Hurricanes. With all this info, it's possible to see how the Anomaly could be a frequency tech that can manipulate or create weather, And or WARM up the Ocean temps to purposely enhance the Hurricane season and Storm growth. Keep in mind that many of our hurricanes and many of the biggest hurricanes have come from the west coast of Africa and form over the Cape Verde islands before heading towards the Caribbean and the United States. This is all of course speculation, and I'm learning many new things every day, so this idea may morph over time as we learn more. We may have some #aurora fun coming! More than 4 solar storms have been launched in the past few days from Region 4334. Some of them are headed to Earth! Along with the fast solar wind picking up by January 9, we could see a bumpy ride with storm conditions peaking January 11. G1 conditions expected thus far, but another storm just launched so forecasts may be changing rapidly! The first video highlights storms launched since January 6. The second video shows a closeup of Storms 3 and 4, which launched today in the Earth-Strike Zone. More analysis is coming.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day feature the most impressive severe thunderstorm setup I’ve seen along the California coastline in at least a decade. The first round of isolated severe thunderstorms will come ashore tonight, bringing the threat of a isolated tornado and severe wind gusts over 60 mph from the Central Coast up to Humboldt County. The severe weather threat then expands into the Central Valley during the afternoon, California’s tornado alley, with the potential for isolated tornadoes, damaging winds, and even large hail. The threat then shifts south into Southern California tomorrow, where isolated severe wind gusts and a brief tornado will be possible. However, Christmas Eve into Christmas morning features the most potent severe weather environment of the week and could lead to a severe thunderstorm outbreak along the coastline from the Central Coast up to the North Coast. The combination of strong low-level and deep-layer shear with sufficient instability is rarely seen in this part of the world. I seriously cannot recall seeing Significant Tornado Parameter (STP) values exceed 3 along the California coastline. The peak threat window appears to be from 10 PM Thursday to 8 AM Friday. It would not be out of the question to see a Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued Christmas Eve night with the potential for a couple tornadoes and scattered severe wind gusts. I also believe this may be the first time on record that San Francisco has been placed under a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms in the Day 1–3 NWS Storm Prediction Center Convective Outlooks.

Fujiwhara?? When two hurricanes interact, they can sometimes pivot around one another. Next week there will likely be 2 tropical cyclones (perhaps 2 hurricanes) offshore. If they are strong enough, and are close enough, a #Fujiwhara may happen. Here’s how it works. Between the 2 storms is a pivot point (sort of like a fulcrum on a seesaw), it happens to be near where the sinking/ driest air is. If conditions are right we may see them pivot, or if one’s stronger (Bermuda hurricane) its force will sling shot the weaker one around it. Still not clear to what degree the Fujiwhara effect will be in effect, but it ought to be interesting! And wind is more chaotic, breaking down all the time when the wind eases off or doesn’t blow enough. In fact wind is lucky to work at just h30% of its capacity - meaning it’s broken down 70%. Blackout Bowen is actually making the case why we need to start building new coal fired power stations yesterday. China currently has a fleet of 1,147 GW of coal-fired power, with a further 421 GW of new coal fired power stations under construction & development. In contrast Australia’s total fleet is an ageing 21GW of coal fired power, which Blackout Bowen wants to close down. If you are going to bed, say a prayer for Australia.
